Evening

£3.41 potted by me today. My pot is sealed and no one touches it other than me, but after saying it was getting full up weeks ago, it does not seem to be getting any closer to being completely full. I know there is loads of money in it, but I want it to be full.

It weighs 7.5lb.

Well done with the PPI cheque, jakes-mum. I'm with you re Valentine's as we don't need to be forced into shelving out for cards and gifts to express love for our OH's. I followed ToniLiz and gave DH a pocket rummage instead!! The rest I'm keeping secret.

Don't worry, GettingOrganised, it isn't a race so get your current problems sorted out and then concentrate on saving all you can.

Even though you're not always here, Meowhouse, it's lovely to know you and other folk keep track of us by lurking. I love snowdrops and got some nice photos in the village a couple of weeks ago - spring is on the way - hard to really believe that after last week's weather!

Hiya everyone sad to hear of all the poorly people hope things look better for you all soon. I'm soo happy today as I've managed to save £100 in my pot. £2 coins seem a bit sparse here at the moment. This lifted my spirits massively. :j

Would have been £9.70 but the cashier in Tesco refused to give me all my change in coins, she looked at me like I was a crazy person for not wanting a note :rotfl:


Then coming home, car suddenly lurched toward the kerb. Stopped and had a look, and my front passenger-side tyre had come right off the rim :mad: £50 for the breakdown truck and who knows how much today to get the wheel sorted

Got the LO's so busy had a lovely day yesterday playing in the woods. Ended up very wet and muddy but still went in the park's caf! !! for hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows!!!

Love watching the kids running around electrics banned in my house . Having a teddy bears picnic later !!

Only a few pennies in the pot, hot chocolate is expensive :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Not posted for ages but have been potting away! Not so much the last couple weeks as been busy trying to get my overdraft down so not spending much to accumulate any change lol, pots are starting to feel heavy though

potted 80p Sunday and managed £1.10 yesterday.

i dont post often but pop on regularly to see how everyone is getting on with their potting.

my challenge to myself this week is to make a meal plan and shop for just what i need and no more but gonna find it hard as my boys are on half term next week and they eat me out of house and home and its one of my boys birthdays this friday so afternoon bowling on Sunday and then for something to eat :eek:
