Ooops! Sorry ladies, didnt mean to leave you all salivating over my dinner :D best not tell you i've made it all over again for myself tonight along with a nice chicken curry (with poppadoms, prawn crackers and a few homemade chips) for the masses :rotfl:

A lovely £2 coin in the pot from those fab ladies at the PO today, plus some random change in the big pot. Plus I settled up with the buy back pot as I had been a bit lax on paying for stuff from my store  so £3.50 in there as well :D

Nell, I was thinking what a fantastic meal Jake's Mum's would have been on slimming world.Absolutely perfect.Of course, the vegies would have all had to be roasted in Fry-light,there wouldn't be allowed to be any gravy...or yorkshire puds...or chicken skin...or stuffing....nor cream on the strawberries and cream haha[1].gif

  • Hey all

I haven't been around much as I've been on a bit of a downer but this weekend i decided to change all that.

After 5 years i have just taken the very first tiny step towards getting a pay rise. This is a big deal for me as it absolutely petrifies me. My manager is going to discuss it with his manager apparently.

It was my birthday yesterday so i got to speak to all my close family.

And if this all works out i may be going on my first ever holiday abroad!

On a potting front it has not been going too great but i have managed to save £34.34 since i last updated my signature, whenever that was.

I do have some more coins to pot and I'm going to try and get on here more as it really motivates me to save.

**Hugs** to all that need them and welcome all you lovely new people

  • I'm sorry potters been missing in action, been a bit manic here trying to sort my TMA out for my course. I have been potting away regularly:D.

£7.70 left from kids taking packed lunch
£4.01 left from night out at the pub (this was my OH's change but was £2 coins so I couldn't part with it)

I have potted some other change but can't remember how much it was.

This has been a very spending month so I haven't managed to save as much. Car insurance I forgot about, and remortgage fees (who on earth forgets that they are changing their mortgage & might have to actually pay for the privilege)

On the plus side I've really reined in the shopping budget thanks to the grocery challenge and still have £253.59 left from my budget. Technically I don't have it as I paid the car insurance with it but you get my drift. :rotfl:

Anyway back to tearing my hair out figuring out this course.
