A nice shiny £2 coin plus some change went into the pot this evening :)

Have first Uni lecture this Saturday on new module. I missed all my lectures last year - so feeling happy to get back to some kind of "normal".

Moomin - hope you are feeling better very soon.

Sue UU - fantastic total, but most importantly it has changed the way I use my money and view saving. Huge big thanks to you and your "team" for persisting with this. It has helped me hugely. Many thanks.

Evening all! Play was very enjoyable and Robert Powell made a quite good Poirot but no-one can take David Suchet's crown. :T

I was very naughty and spent £5 on two icecreams (faint) instead of saving it for my pot.

I noticed ETO hasn't been on here lately either, hope everything is ok in the ETO household.

Jakes-mum, those £2 coins are only valuable if you have the silver proof, up to £30 each. Or gold proof up to @ £745 unboxed. Mine aren't either unfortunately. Hope yours are. ;)

Lynsey, my user name comes from my heroine Modesty Blaise. I absolutely adore her. :A

    Fabulous total Sue. :j:beer::T

Hi all, had a cheeky idea this morning..I went into my money jar and took out £40 in £10 notes which I replaced with my 2 x £20 notes in my purse..my thinking on this was, if the bf goes to the shop and I give him a £20 note he will think he has more to spend and buy rubbish buttttttttttt, if I only give him £10 he will be thinking about what he's buying and bring back lots of change...well that is the idea I will let you all know how it goes haha xx
£151 in main jar and £37.50(maybe more) in copper jar for #350

Well done everyone on that total, what an amazing amount just from putting bits of change here and there into our jars keep it up all x
    The 1% Challenge #76 - Debt 1 = £620 - 1% = £6.20 - 4.3%
    Debt 2 = £1600- 1% = £16 - 0%
    Debt 3 = £1012 - 1% = £10.12 0%

    Pay all your debt by Xmas 2016 #130- £465.86/£7636.46 - 6.1 %
    Make £10 a day ~ Jan £182.49, Feb £373.65

Morning all, hope all are well. My turn for bad weather today. :(
Still nowhere near as bad as those suffering in the south west. Take care if anyone is caught up there.
There should be NO water-pipe bans this year, that's for sure. :D

Sue - I did notice the total yesterday and forgot to comment. I have been watching it creep up and a great amount. I just hope you and your "helpers" have an easier time next totalling time and "potters" declare quicker. Well done to all involved, especially those chasing up.
I think we'll smash that this year and the potting seems much more active at the minute. Keep it up all and please declare ASAP after the 27th November.

    I potted £4.90 - 2 x £2, 1 x 50p and 2 x 20p coins.
I want to smash right through the £300 barrier this month as March might not be as good due to holidays, so all my change, or most of it will be potted.

Thats some serious saving goin on!! Makes my little 10p to pot donation last night look somewhat meagre :( But its better than the zero p at the weekend :) February is going to be a long hard month moneywise.
