Sue, that is an incredible amount! Holy cow! Well on our way to a million bucks at this stage

I potted a little €1.30 today.. Every little helps! Doubt I'll get to a large total in November at this rate of going but you never know!

There's a £5 Crown that can go in the pot/bank and two £2 coins from 1989 which might be worth a bit more. They look like £1 coins, all one colour and sized in between todays £1 & £2 coins. I don't know whether to pot them or have the hassle of trying to sell them. There are loads on Eb*y already
i was born in 1989 and after reading that i have just been on flea-bay and found coins for mine and my parents birthdays
Hi little_sweetie, I've no idea where sparks is to, I wrote to him yesterday about the NEW Grand Target that we have - and that not one single person has noticed in my post from yesterday.
I noticed!! I've just not been on to comment.
So much for February being my month, i'm seriously struggling already
My niece found £20 in town at the weekend. I'm so distracted at the moment that i just walked over it. She offered to give it me but i didn't take it. I'd have felt bad.... she pocketed it though. We did hang around the shop for a while to see if anyone came back or missed it.Sealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

Ahh Sue, I did notice the fantabulous new total, but I got side tracked with talk of commemorative coins, undercharging postage and realising id lost my most treasured gift

Have found the £5'er though so I am happy again
It's an old white £5 note that my mum and dad bought for me for my 18th and all I know re value is that my mum said when handing it over 'just dont ask how much!'. Funnily enough she was only asking a couple of weeks ago if I still had it, as if id sell it! ive had it 16 years now and always feel a little sad that when I go, the kids will have to sell it as its not something they could split and id feel mean leaving it to just one
As a side note, ive just brought all my charity pin badges down from the loft (I really like to collect things
) and I have 269 :rotfl: am wondering if maybe its time to cull the collection
I seem to have alot of full sets from different charities.
A glorious 10p in the pot this evening from my PO run
should have to go back again tomorrow so hopefully more pennies to go in then

2 lovely £2 coins for me, so really pleased to hear them clunk into the pot. Everyone is doing really well at the moment, its going to take a lot to beat last years amount though, that was blooming fantastic. Lets give it a good go though!!I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0
