  • OK, got round to clearing out the odd change in the car and potted just over £4. Also some change from the shopping went in. Had a walk in the sunshine this afternoon and my eyes were glued to the road looking for roadkill, just as I was giving up hope, I spotted a 2p - so that's gone in today too.

Had a poor potting week, so I'm glad it got boosted today.

    Hi all
Sorry I've been missing for a bit, I've been potting but no time to post :(
However after a splendid weekend walking, I've potted 12 £1 coins that the ticket machine at Hastings station gave me as change. I thought it would be rude not to :)
Hope everyone's ok, good luck with the radiotherapy Nell, and keep well and dry everyone else :)

Everyone is doing soooo well around here :T.
I am still to update my budget and work out how much money I have left over from January budget-might get a chance to do this tomorrow.
But for now,I have potted the £1.31 roadkill collected during the month.I did actually collect £2.50,but I sometimes hand my finds straight over to my DS if he is with me (glad he wasn't with me today when I found a £5 note on the floor of ASDA :j:D)

Good morning all, well I am glad to say I have £75 left in the bank from what we didn't spend before pay day tomorrow.. In the morning I am going to withdraw £50 for the week and keep it in my purse for when the bf nips to the shop.. He does drive me mad at times, says he's just going for milk and comes back with all the yellow sticker doughnuts and cookies which is all well and good but I am trying to lose weight lol. He is good sometimes, a few weeks ago those 3 for £10 packs of meat he got 6 packs for 60p each and we put them in the freezer and have slowly been using them for meals so he can he useful at times lol.
Really happy with this weekends spends and when we was at sainsburys yesterday I bought some batteries with my £5 note and got some nice change.. and while she had the till open I cheekly asked if she could change my £10 note I had left, she said would £1s be okay and me being me said.....could you put a few £2's in aswell lol so I got 3 x £2 and 4 x £1 which made me feel very cheeky but very happy at the same time. As soon as I got home I potted them as you don't miss what you don't spend so now my new total for
    #350 is .... £150/£1000

Thanks everyone for the inspiration, if it wasn't for this thread I would be £150 worse off.. more infact because I would have spent more than I would have liked to on silly things, fingers crossed everyone has a good february potting, looking forward to reading everyone elses posts x good luck - Braddy
