Hi everyone, hope you're keeping warm and dry during this awful weather! DF caught me emptying my purse into the pot today and asked me what I was doing. Explained about the whole sealed pot thing like I do every year and he promptly handed me a whole pile of change! Glad to see he's on board with the whole thing as well!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170

Evening all
Sounds like the wind and rain has picked up again outside, at least staying in means not spending money
£3 in the pot today. Will withdraw my weekly money to spend tomorrow and then pot anything left over plus the odd change by next sunday. I'm trying to be more disciplined as if I pay everything on card, I seem to quickly lose control - doesn't feel like spending real money plus no change to put in the pot. This really is strangely addictive!
Have a nice evening everybodyLBM no. 2 £20k

Potted about £3 today on getting back from a very wet and muddy walk! Did enjoy it though, and enjoyed the chink of coin on coin in my pot!
Keep safe everyone
