A very warm welcome, hettiecarro, savingbabs and mummalove. It's lovely to have you with us. :grinheart Enjoy yourself saving, posting and joining in the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 1st post of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings near the end of November, please make a note of this year's date: 27th Nov.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

    Good for you, Saver88.

The wine warms away the water, eh Caz. ;)

Some you win, jakes-mum and folk aren't always polite.

If it'll make it any easier, Tinker.bell, some members take a certain amount from the bank each month to save in their pots for Christmas. If that's no good then have a look at the "Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge" here on MSE, it's designed for those who get little or no change. All I ask, if you do decide to join them, is please let me know so someone else can have your SPC No. Thank you. :)

Brilliant potting, valkirn. :j You also, nanto3girls. :D

I'm so pleased it helps you so much, littleangels3, keep up the great work. :D

Seriously, samtoby, did you want a Target putting on?

Good for you, nikki2002-2008, good to see you.

All the best with the sales, glassy, and yes DS is darling Son. :A You'll soon learn....though we girls seem to pick it up quicker I do believe being multi taskers etc. :D

    You're doing really well, slowlyfading.

You've got the gist, Mrs Cheshire, sticking to budget really does help. Meanwhile every little helps.

WOW, you really have saved well, BlueDaisy, all by yourself too!! Marvellous saving!!!! :T Good wishes for round 2. ;)

See, Delilahh, you got there in the end. :D Sounds as though you need to take care though.

Ah, mention of the fishing waistcoat pocket again, Modesty, a good catch too for sure! :j BTW, New York doesn't know what's in store for them with sparks being there, if it isn't snow tis sparky!

Well done on keeping lunch cheap, ladsmadd.

Wonderful saving, everyone, be proud of it however small or large, you SAVED it.

Enjoy a lovely Sunday, SPCers, keep safe and healthy.....saving too if possible. :D

PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers! You'll see there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. :D Please change numbers ASAP folks.

If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!

    Very many thanks indeed.
    Sue x

Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's NEVER too late. There may be a lot of us, but don't be shy, we're a lovely lot, so come on in. :grinheart

  • Hi. Brand new here and would like to join. Going to start this on Monday which is my first official pay day of the year (I don't even have a penny to my name at the moment- in fact i'm £200 overdrawn, lol).

Going to set a target of £200. Wanting to surprise my Mum with a nice trip to London for new year this year so i'll give this a go and will help me out hopefully :)

Hi, Can I join in please! I have a lovely pot I got in the sales from Boots a few years ago. I won't have a target but I've chucked a load of change in it today to get started. What kinds of coins do we put in is it a little bit of everything or do we not include coppers etc...?

Thank you! Looking forward to getting a number :D
