A very safe
happy and healthy New Year,
_party_SPCers!! _party_
A very warm welcome, amberfinn53, Katey1980 and noodledoodle78. It's lovely to have you with us. :grinheart Enjoy yourself saving, posting and joining in the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 1st post of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings near the end of November, please make a note of this year's date: 27th Nov.
Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.
amberfinn53, £200 is never a small amount, so if you can get to that, be very happy, but no matter how much you get, still be proud as it's money that would probably been wasted over time. All best wishes.
Katey1980, a great idea with the whiskey bottle!
noodledoodle78, don't be nervous, we're a wonderful lot and you're now 1 of us!!!Who are these people who throw money away?? It amazes me! If you don't want it at least bung it in a charity box
Have a lovely £2 coin to go in the pot today and really need to go to town to pay DH credit card bill, a lady on the grabbit board also got me thinking as she posted a link to one of the charities online sale and it got me thinking that I'd never contemplated going into the charity shops to buy gifts! They do a lot of new toys and as I buy for the giving tree each year which has children from birth to late teens I could prob get some nice bits in the sales and would effectively be donating twice! So am going to have a trundle into our local ones to see what's available.
Ah, as much as we adore Christmas, jakes-mum, after it's over tis good to get back to normal....unless you're with your treasures! :rotfl: I know they know better, but kids off the leash eh! That lady on the grabbit board was thinking wisely as it's amazing what you see in them at times. Time we re-thought Christmas!
What you're doing sounds ideal, CariadsNewStart. Great potting so far today!! :j Have a wonderful evening and a lovely meal.
Be forever on the lookout, Ryan_f!!! a fantastic amount.
PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers! You'll see there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. Please change numbers ASAP folks.
If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!
Very many thanks indeed.Sue x

Hey Everyone...Happy New Year!!! Hope you ALL have a good one....
No Sue....5 bags a day...but if I wait until November to Pot everything I'll have to go every single day for about 30 days and that's just not practical....But don't worry, I'll keep a running total of how much I've banked...and it won't be spent!!0 -

Hello everyone
.
LC 2's always laughing in an evil way, nu1isit?, she doesn't need to throw her head back, she's made that way as she's always looking up - though I won't say where from. :silenced::rotfl:
:rotfl:
... Oh no Sue, I hear LC has a pair of these :A, and sometimes there's a bright light behind her, complete with music
.
Both kids are currently in time out today *sigh* after deciding while out with their gran yesterday that the book shop would be the perfect place to have a game of tag  so if you saw a lanky lad dodging about laughing while a small girl was screaming in frustration because she couldn't catch him, I apologise profusely as they do know better than that!
Oh no, jakes-mum. At least nothing got broken . You can always guarantee, when they choose to play up, there'll be an audience nearby. So people see a snapshot of naughtiness, but have missed the rest of the day, were it's been good and they've had fun. However, ours kept the naughty step nice and warm one day, at the start of the holidays, but touch wood, they've been pretty good since :j. Just normal, 'sisterly love', every so often :rotfl::rotfl:.
Still finishing of Christmas savoury tit bits . People [STRIKE]passed off[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]palmed off[/STRIKE], donated their excess crackers and biscuits, to us.
A lonely twenty pence, from me today :j.
Have a great New Year everyone and I hope it's a good one  :grouphug: .😇 Sealed Pot Challenge: Member No: 20: 2012 = £92.14; 2013 = £45.27; 2014 = £54.70; 2015 = ; 2016 = £70.38 2022 = £10.58 2023 = ???? 🍀 2023 DECLUTTERING CAMPAIGN Mrs SD 65/365 so far. 👾 The Other Way, or the MSE Way: My Personal Challenge 🍀 The Other Way, or the MSE Way: My Personal Challenge 20120 -
