*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps. Its been a busy week, my last day at work yesterday, I was sad to be leaving the people I work with, such a lovely bunch. On the upside, my new job starts 2nd Jan, Il be working from home! General admin work - was contacted by an old employer I left 4 years ago and offered the job. It will be strange working from home, but Im looking forward to not having to find the money for childcare, and hopefully save a few more pennies :T
That was a valiant effort, bellevie, good for you and here's your 1st gold star to pop on your siggy. :staradmin In future if you can remember the part about looking at the 1st post of Page 1 it'll be perfect.Very best wishes with your new job, with a little one to care for it sounds ideal. Well done with your savings too.
A very Merry Christmasto you also.Looking for a last minute gift? Got someone you have to buy for but don't really like? Well have I got a deal for you! Free to a good home (so you can pot what you would have spent :j :j) one part used husband! Yes you can be the proud new owner of the original miserable old Scrooge! Guaranteed years of moaning, and doesn't even require batteries! May make you the occasional cup of tea but will demand breakfast, lunch and dinner made for him, has child like belief in magic, as in magic elves collect his dirty clothes, wash, iron and put them back in the drawer and thinks the money out of cash machines is a present from the bank
Line up ladies! For this fabulous, FREE gift, come get him soon as this fabulous offer is proving popular! So far I've had . . . . . No requests for him! But I'm sure that right buyer is just round the corner!
Far more likely that any would-be buyer would have to be round the ruddy bend! I mean......look at his previous owner....would YOU take him on?!! :rotfl: It ain't gonna happen, jakes-mum, you're stuck with him! Thanks for a darn good laugh though.......
.....from you also, LC 2. Here, you're ok to be just LC now as there was no response from Little Chicken, well, unless she's away. Leave it for a bit or she might have a go at you when she comes back. *shrugs shoulders*
Oh no, not another with a dodgy hubby, claireyfairy, still, you have to admit that he's trying...yes, your patience, but trying. You did well with that £1.50 in your pot for the leek, we usually pay a £1 for 3! Keep upping it all, you're onto a winner. :rotfl:
You're welcome, fishcakes, and well done.
Ooooh you lucky girl in having that 5 month old little sweetie to give loads of lovely cuddles to, 32b3. :A
If you're that sensitive already, Ruth, look out a little further down the track. Still, sooner a sensitive than a hard one any day.
You lucky thing, Modesty! That's a lot of cash on Christmas Eve! :j
With luck you'll be making a fortune from your DH, Cauliflower!!
What it is to have hubby's that don't think about their cash, Pickle, you're so jammy - keep it up.
You have a lovely time too, ALM.
Good for you, Tracy.Have a lovely Christmas Eve, folks, and a fantastic day tomorrow!
PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers now. You'll see there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. Please change numbers ASAP folks.
If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!
Very many thanks indeed.Sue x

Hello Everyone.....And a VERY Merry Christmas to you ALL....
I went to see Phantom of the Opera this Afternoon at the Theatre....was about my ninth time of seeing it and every single time is BREATHTAKING...and today was no exception....AND the whole Cast Sang "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" at the end after all the applause...so it was a perfect way to start Christmas...
Just a single lonely solitary penny to add to the Pot tonight....Found it at Piccadilly Station....I saw something shiny on the floor and nearly jumped on it to make sure I was the one to get it!!
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Christmas...xXx :A0 -

You know, my mother in law didn't stop grinning through our entire wedding ceremony, there I was thinking 'aww she's happy for us' but nope it was actually 'ha ha ha ha ha little does she know what she's signing up for' and when I tried to give him back she said she doesn't do refunds, he's sold as seen!!!
