A v e r y M e r r y C h r I s t m a sE v e r y o n e!! :xmastree:Ooooh I used to post here a few years ago I think but I probably raided my pot long ago! I'm looking to have a serious year of saving this year, just need to track down a pot... Hoping I can get stuck in after that. I actually have a tonne of change weighing down my purse at the moment! I have a coffee jar I can use in the interim but I'm too scared of stabbing myself to cut a hole in the lid so I can't seal it at the moment haha!
Hello again, amiehall and welcome home! Please see the membership list on the 1st post of Page 1 to get your number then please pop it on your signature. We always empty our pots and declare our savings near the end of November, please make a note of next year's date: 27th Nov.
Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.frugaldances wrote: »Having spent on Xmas presents and going slightly over I saved £5 in my purse for a taxi because of theta input as my bf picked me up I've potted it! My first note :-):j

lynnejk wrote:Hi - I can't get them either anymore but if you click on 'more' at bottom of list and when it opens expand it - you then get all the keyboard details for the smilies. They don't all work but the majority do
A fantastic GT eh, Lynne! I know sparky is chuffed with it too, but sadly me putting it on here and sparky going away coincided so he can't be part of it.BTW, I never knew that about the smilies, very handy at times when the internet's slow, thanks Lynne and your 1st gold star for helpfulness to others. :staradmin
rosyq wrote:Probably won't get time to post for a few days so I'll wish you all a HAPPY CHRISTMAS and see you afterwards
Have a wonderful time, Rosy, Merry Christmas and thanks so much for all your help. :xmassmileModestyB wrote:Merry Christmas to one and all. Hope you all enjoy the day.

Anyway shopping done and now he has had breakfast and is sitting reading the paper and has just said "Do you think you should be playing on that laptop cos you have a lot of cooking to do "
Oh dear, LC 2, thanks a lot, that really made me laugh. :rotfl: I just read the highlighted bits to T, he grinned wryly as that's him to a T!! Possibly so of all men! Have a GREAT time all of you, Merry Christmas.fishcakes wrote:question: I won the bonus ball in work £36. can i pot this.? also any money I get as a gift at Christmas . That's all perfectly ok, fishcakes, VERY well done!!! :j
Ours used to be the same, jakes-mum, put your head/face as close as you like, but a hand - no way! Maybe they think we're gigantic birds and our hands are wings to biff em with. :rotfl:
Good to see you today, Pmo2, and a very Merry Christmas to you and yours too. All the best with your last line coming to reality!
Morning skilly and a very Merry Christmas to you also.
Oh thanks for that, sparky, I felt terrible last night on the sudden realisation. We'll make sure of a better timing next year.
There's more to be added already, need to wait though as tis on the wrong thread.
Survived the in-laws?? Bet J's happy with you!
A lovely crisp £10er for the UU pot. Won't it be weird when we get the plastic ones!!! :eek:Have a lovely Christmas Eve, folks, don't let anything spoil your mood - unless it's bad! :rotfl:
PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers now. You'll see there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. Please change numbers ASAP folks.
If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!
Very many thanks indeed.Sue x

Looking for a last minute gift? Got someone you have to buy for but don't really like? Well have I got a deal for you! Free to a good home (so you can pot what you would have spent :j :j) one part used husband! Yes you can be the proud new owner of the original miserable old Scrooge! Guaranteed years of moaning, and doesn't even require batteries! May make you the occasional cup of tea but will demand breakfast, lunch and dinner made for him, has child like belief in magic, as in magic elves collect his dirty clothes, wash, iron and put them back in the drawer and thinks the money out of cash machines is a present from the bank
Line up ladies! For this fabulous, FREE gift, come get him soon as this fabulous offer is proving popular! So far I've had . . . . . No requests for him! But I'm sure that right buyer is just round the corner!
Yep, you've all guessed it, I've just had to suffer the Christmas Eve shop with him, I swear it wouldn't be half so painful if he'd just stay in the darn car!

:xmastree: merry Christmas eve you crazy potters :xmastree:
well I'm having fun at work today, if I actually did something my day might pass quicker.:D
I left my OH at home with the kids and soup making instructions :eek, he just phoned to tell me how clever he's been making the soup (carrot & coriander) even using a leek from the garden very MSE. :T:T. However the soup is GREEN (I'm on my phone and can't change font colour) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:, he is now furiously boiling carrots to create orangish soup. Pfft.:rotfl::rotfl:
Now as he remembered to take a leek from the garden I will pot the money I would of spent in the supermarket. Only problem how much are leeks?? I was going for £1.50 or am I over estimating my wonder veg?? They are pretty huge.
£1.50 it is till I'm told otherwise. :cool::pJAN - £208.56/£250 NSD-8
