I swapped with my sister and she went shopping with my niece (her DD) and I am looking after her 2 sons, aged 8 years and 5 months. I bought us mc'ds so I have £1.73 to pot today.

Sue - What an amazing total considering how rubbish this year has been money wise. I'm so proud of us all. Hopefully we'll see more old faces return but I fear if they do I'll never keep up haha!!

Jellybaby - I cry reading greetings cards in the shop so you can only imagine what I'm like with some songs. I'm an emotional wreck. Sue, if it gets worse as we get older I'd hate to think what I'll be like in 20 years or so haha.!

Jakes-mum / Sue - if I don't stroke my bird she nibbles on my fingers getting harder and harder until I do!!!! Gets a little annoying when I'm trying to blow dry my hair!!

No potting from me but I'm trying not to spend much as my next two wage slips will be teeny tiny ones and I have a puppy to purchase before my next full pay slip. Definitely going to try and get on here a little more though lol

DH just battled around Mr. M with DD and brought back £15.96 out of the £20 I gave him! Coins have been potted, notes back in purse/holding pot.

Today has been another good day for me. Used a £20 note to pay for post office/ebay items which came to £13.00 so I kept the note change & deposited the £2.00 in coins then when I was tidying up our key draw I found £1.75 in change so I deposited that too (hubby ought to be more careful where he leaves his loose change around )
So £3.75 in the pot for me today so far!

ModestyB, maybe in a decade id start to miss him, when id finally got over the shock of putting things down and when I turn round they are still there, or getting in the car and not having to move 16 chocolate wrappers that 'nobody' has bought so I can put my phone in the door pocket :rotfl:

Dont forget if you have littlies to check the sky at 5:57pm as Father Christmas (aka the space station) will be crossing the sky from west to east at roughly that time! It will only be visible for 2 minutes (if its clear enough) so keep your eyes peeled

£2.16 in the pot tonight, I need more change! I keep hoping each year that miserly . . . um I mean DH will give me a load of change wrapped up under the tree :rotfl:
