Hello,
Had a lovely shopping trip with DD1 today as she wanted to spend some of her birthday money and I needed to get a couple of Christmas presents (Christmas shopping is now finished!! :j:j )
I was given 2 more £2 coins in change today, so they've gone straight into the Christmas pot ~ I'm really happy with the way the savings are mounting up already, long may it continue!
Wishing everyone a fabulous weekend!

25p potted today :T0

Well I dragged all the christmas presents out and found a couple for DD I had forgotten and were not on my spreadsheet
so had a rejig of her christmas and birthday list and am now 3 presents into christmas 2014 :rotfl: is it too soon?
Currently have £378 in the wins for birthday/christmas 2014 fund, DD's birthday, mums birthday (both jan) and MILs birthday (august) are already sorted, so am currently looking for DH (april) and DS (may) :rotfl: Well, you never know when that bargain might jump out at you! :rotfl:

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.
Many thanks for helping out, mummytummy, you've earned another star. :staradmin
Well done, Emily, you're doing well given it's almost Christmas.
You're most welcome, **sparkles**, enjoy the challenge.
A real bargain in the end with the puzzle, jakes-mum. BTW, I am always courteous and simply ask for the same in return., not too much to ask, I don't think.ModestyB wrote:Sue, I think you're right about saving for a new laptop, can only use this one in safe mode atm.
I hope your leg is better soon, sounds really painful. (((Hugs)))
Potted a few handfuls of change over the last week, £1.43 going in tonight.
Hi Modesty, so sorry to hear your laptop's only getting worse. Please don't worry about the "Reminder" thread anymore as, if you're using it in safe mode it's too risky! You & ETO have been terrific on there and I've so appreciated your help over the last few weeks, Rosy & Ruth also, you've all put yourselves out to play a huge part. Bless all my :A:A:A:A Many thanks also for the knee wishes and hugs, time will see it ok, but I have an open appointment just in case.Bambisbelle wrote:Thank you for the kind message sue I love paying for beautiful things for my little one. Ex-OH is well and truly out of the window (I'd love to have thrown him!! :rotfl: ) so he now has no interference with my savings pots
Another 2p in the kitty for me. So far, so good.
Ah, I didn't realise you were speaking of him in the past tense, Bambisbelle, amazing news!!!You can look ahead now to saving for the two of you and enjoying it. :j
Lucky you with the 7p, Lynne, not bad.
Good to see you pay yourself well, nanto3girls.Why not.
You have a lovely weekend as well, Lynsey. Our Son's been in and said that Waitrose was packed, depends we're we all go and what time of day I expect.
nikki2002-2008, you be sure to have a really wonderful evening tonight, it sounds as though you truly deserve it. Enjoy yourselves. :grinheartDellyC wrote:Been a bit slow with this challenge but £2.90 potted total £12.50
Don't worry, Delly, it's early days yet and we've all had a lot of expense with Christmas, so plenty of time to pick up yet. Meanwhile £12.50 is brilliant!
Crikey! You must be saving fast, redbooties, VERY well done and keep up the great work.
It sounds like you and DD had a perfect day together, Happybeingme, days like that are so precious.
Good for you, Eyebright.
PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers now as they're all done and simply need swapping over. You'll see that there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. Please change numbers ASAP folks.
If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!
Very many thanks indeed.Have a great weekend, everyone.Sue x

Another £4.60 in the pot for me today.
£2 x 2 coins as I returned a pair of snowboots today as DS1 said they were too small for him. I had paid cash so they gave me £2 x 2 in my refund. Went to tesco and paid for shopping and had some tokens to use. One wouldn't scan so had to go to customer services and got that in cash so decided that could go into my tin too.0 -
Hello Potters
...
A few more pennies for the pot today :j. On the downside though, I had to buy two new car tyres :eek:. Going to have to get saving, because the other two need replacing soon too  _pale_ ; 'it never rains, but it pours' and all that
. Still, it could be worse :rotfl:
:rotfl:....
At least the DD's have had fun today.... Tomorrow is officially roller skates day, according to them anyway:j. Not for me though, I've seen those Emergency Room programs. Daddy will do some sort of, 'daddy jog' beside them :rotfl::D :rotfl:.

Well I'm not sure how I have survived today, what with the gale force winds, and me completely losing my marbles in town, which consisted of me leaving a bag of Christmas presents I had just brought, in our local coffee shop!
I literally got up and walked out it wasnt until half an hour later that I remembered, and had to dash back (not an easy feat whilst battling with Christmas shoppers, a massive baby bump, and the rest of my bags swinging wildly from my arms) Luckily for me however some kind shopper handed my shopping into the coffee shop, restoring my faith in humanity and the people of my town
I did manage to save £2 on parking thanks to shepway district council for giving all shoppers 2 hours free parking, so that's going into the pot :j
All in all its been a relatively eventful day, I saved and potted so definitely not complaining
