I've just had a quick look, jakes-mum, but can't find it. If you can remember your old No then I'll gladly check your Target for you and pop it on.

*Points down at sig while sniggering behind her hand* Target is written in my siggy for all to see :D:D:D

Hi everyone, been AWOL for a few days. Busy at work, busy trying to clean for guests coming at Christmas and busy plodding round those horrid shops!! Good news is that I'm still managing to pot every single day and I came in under budget on the Xmas shopping budget so stuck £25 in my jar :) I presume this is allowed??

I've caught DS2 dropping his 'smash' in a few times too, so obviously my 'informative chats' (!!) about saving are getting through.

Chill time tonight. Hope everyone stays warm and dry and happy potting x
  • 8p so far for me but I'm waiting for a payment for a days work I did so that's going straight in when I know how much

Deep cleaned the kitchen and living room. Hoped to find some change but no, all I found was 7 years worth of grease on top of the extractor fan left behind by the previous owners - boak.

Maybe upstairs will prove more fruitful. :rotfl:

Happy Christmas everyone and hope you all have a lovely time.

To you (above) also, shiningfaery, and thank you. :D

All part of life though, Sams, think ahead to the family not to the car and have a lovely time. ;)

Curly, I bet that scenario is played out over and over again in so many households...glad it's not just mine. :D

You HAVE to be joking, jakes-mum!! I searched high and low on SPC 6 to try to find that this morning! I wouldn't have dreamed of looking on your siggy. Please next time you could make it much easier for me by just stating the amount! Anyway, it's on now.

That's perfectly ok, Jellybaby, you go ahead, that is brilliant saving, well done you! :T Well done for your DS too, bless him.

Excellent, nikki2002-2008!!! :j I just read the 1st post then saw the next and was really chuffed for you.

PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers now as they're all done and simply need swapping over. You'll see that there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. forums.moneysavingexpert.comPlease change numbers ASAP folks.

If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!

    Very many thanks indeed.

Good night, everyone, sleep well and have a good day tomorrow, and stay warm.
    Sue x

Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's NEVER too late. There may be a lot of us, but don't be shy, we're a lovely lot, so come on in.

Potted £50 into my pot. £30 of that is money saved on my travelcard for next week, only working 1 day and have enough money on my oyster card to cover the travel cost. £20 of that is money saved on not going to the Christmas work do yesterday with the staff where I am temping. In the middle of no where, not near a tube station and had to rely on people giving me a lift to the station. If I wanted to leave early probably had to take a cab.

    Evening all,
Thanks Sue-UU for my shiny new number. Of course you are forgiven for missing me off the list - you have so many people to look after that overlooking little old me is quite understandable.

I had to check that a hubby rummage with my new number was as lucrative as my old number and am pleased to say it was... icon10.gif
Handful of coinage potted this evening into luvly new pot.
