Put stuff from landing in the loft, got the Christmas lights down to test for the weekend.
Hoovered all of upstairs, DS1 just doing his room now.
Jacket pots for the AGA next I think. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Happy Birthday ionafan!

Another batty week of work over. Well, not quite, apparently there was another email after I signed off - and I've told my boss to leave it and I will sort it later when the tots are in bed. With any luck will only take me half an hour... (And I've said I will have a bit of time back for DS Xmas concert)
Glad I set off, though, as traffic was getting quite busy!
So, I had enough time to return some cords to sainsbobs and come home for a quick cuppa. Will go get the small people soon.
Oddly the house doesn't look too bad with us all being out for the last few days. Do have a spot of ironing to do tomorrow.Bossymoo

Got to the doctors and they claimed my appointment was for ten past twelve not ten past two. Adamant they were right even when I said I had wrote it down. Think I can tell the difference between 12 and 2. Can't get in till next week now. Came home and hoovered the bedroom in a strop.
Been in spare bedroom and sorted a few more presents out. Might get some more wrapping done.0 -
WUDUPA = washed up, dried up, put away
I am notoriously lazy with the dishes and tend to leave them to air dry only to have to put them away before I can do the next batch. I need to try and remind myself how much tidier the kitchen looks with an empty drainer.
My head is almost fine nowonly to be replaced with rotten AF cramps; sometimes I think men don't realise how easy they have it
I did manage the washing up before I collected DS2 (didn't DUPA though!) and have emptied the airer, put away the non-ironing and sorted another load for the WM. Just having a quick cuppa while waiting for the ibuprofen to kick in then I'll crack on with dinner. Boys are excited as I got them a YS half crispy duck and pancakes -- DS2 says I'm the best mum ever. Little crawler
On knitting, it depends what I'm doing, I like long tail but I'm rubbish at guesstimating how much of a "tail" I need to pull out to start. Usually I end up about 2" shorter than needed so I have to rip it out and start again  I watched the video for JSSCO and it fuddled my brain but I love the bind off so I should persevere.0 -
ive just knitted a mug cosy - i should have been doing the ironing but justified it by thinking it is for the fayre on saturdaySPC~12 ot 124

I am envious of all you ladies that know how to knit, my mam said she was going to teach me about 6 years ago, I still have never set eyes on a knitting needle.
I have done nothing, I will soon.0 -
:rudolf:November Challenge COMPLETE!! :T Final bit of virtual "shredding" (of the copy I made of the original back-up, in case I made a pig's a$$ of something) is currently under way, will be finished by the time I finish this post and press "submit".:D
I found a 20-page virtual document that was still in the form of PaperPort files, so had to turn that into Jpegs (it got missed because it was in a folder of its own) - it was the wretched booklet I had to fill in for ESA, so vital that it's available for later reference! I always scan anything I send to the DWP, as they can't be trusted not to lose things.;) Anyways, I got that sorted, and checked nothing else had been missed.:o
So we now have nice, tidy filing and virtual filing, and *stands back in amazement* everything is easy to find!:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
