Where do you buy your games?

pc games i will usually buy the keys from online (steam/origin code but sold in another country) can save loads of money even on new releases.
example cod ghosts £39.99 on steam
steam code £28.99 from a key store

bf4 on origin £44.99
key store £30

both uk keys in english.

when fifa 14 was in pre order, on the ea forums someone managed to get a key from brazil in english for £18

shopto.net are good for pre-orders and they often arrive early. I've also used Tesco online and amazon recently too.
Game/HMV etc are usually more expensive.

I usually go to Amazon or Steam for my gaming needs, all though lately I've used Green Man Gaming and been very happy with the service. I also use supermarkets occasionally, as they can be amongst the first people to drop the price on a new release (or they used to be at least, doesn't happen as often as it used to).

We have a branch of CEX near to us and I find that they sell the used games more expensive than buying brand new!

Very rarely I shop at Game as they can be quite expensive, but I do try Asda and also Amazon.

I shop where it is cheapest, depending on how quickly I want the game. Generally it's supermarkets or Amazon. Never tried shopto. I've used Game once in the last year for a new game. That was because everywhere else had sold out. Paying £45 for a game didn't please me in the slightest, but it was The Last of Us, the best game of this gen. It was worth every penny.

i tend to buy most games on steam, especially during the sales when their prices can't be beat

I agree with Steam. When it first came out I found the concept annoying, having to have an internet connection and login to play your games. But now I find if I lose a game box and its CD key you can no longer play it without buying it again or getting a dodgy CD key. So long as you don't forget your Steam login details those games are yours for life. They have good offers on all the time as well, and it is a good way to find out about new games etc.

Amazon or CEX. Best place in my opinion. If it is a new release then a supermarket or Game.

CEX most of the time but every now and then a supermarket. For example a while back Tesco had Tomb Raider at £15! Cheaper than the second hand places
Failing this I'd go for Amazon or wherever is cheapest online. I usually check all retailers.

So far I have only ever found one game that is cheaper to download from the PSN.

Never go to Game. Rip off. Asda and the supermarkets usually offer a 25% less then Game are knocking them out for and they wonder why they are going to go out of business!

I like to look around markets, car boots and charity shops, so relaxing.
