As the title says really.. where do you buy your games?
I sometimes get them from Tesco as they are often cheaper than game there.

I tend to buy a lot on Steam or GOG, otherwise I usually lose the DVD or the DVD key, at least with Steam and GOG that's not a problem.0

For PC games Ive bought a few on steam and for xbox I mainly buy from Game, Shopto and amazon.0

CEX, play.com for bargains. Amazon for new releases, or sainsburys as they sometimes have new releases cheaper than the standard release price. GAME, occasionally.0

I try to buy from Game or HMV - these days I try to buy from the 'traditional' retailers as much as I can (afford to) - but also Tesco or Amazon.0

Up until very recently I used my local indie a lot (I won't be shopping there again after a very poor experience with a couple of their management bods & their rampant disregard for honesty) along with the supermarkets & Game. Game get bad press for prices but if you catch the right timing they do have some bargains in there preowned you just need a bit of luck with it.
I tend to shop where it's cheapest & ultimately that rules out certain companies, although I stop short of buying console games online as I don't have the patience to wait for them! On PC it's mostly Steam, no two ways about that.Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0 -
Supermarkets should always be checked before purchasing! can get some cracking deals!
Also, try CEX and Grainger Games, cheapest I've found.
Amazon if all else fails.0 -
Amazon, GAME, Play, various other online places (eBay for instance, for rare or older games I missed out on because I got into gaming late anyway, only buy mint condition sometimes still sealed and from established sellers with good feedback. Other than that I don't buy second hand games as I like to get collectors editions and all the perks etc of new). I sometimes have games brought from the supermarket, mainly DS or 3DS games.I SUPPORT CAT RESCUE! Visit Cat Chat to support cat rescue too.

For the PC it's usually Steam sales, the Humble store, Gamefly or Greenmangaming.
For retail releases it's usually either Amazon or Tescos, for 3DS games Tescos have been not bad for prices recently.
I avoid Game these days, the service is usually horrible (10-15 minutes per customer while they try to sell strategy guides, season passes, disc insurance etc.) and the condition of some of the brand new games is worse than second hand games. At least with Tescos the price is usually better than Game, I don't have to put up with any nonsense at the till and I get a brand new sealed copy of the game.

As this is a money saving site its sometimes cheaper to buy the game with your weekly shop and of course with likes of sainsburys you can use nectar points to get money off.0

Usually Amazon or Sainsburys, I did wander into CEX on Saturday but the smell of stale sweat had me turning on my heels.0
