Oh Skint, how different life would be eh ?!! Actually oh to be 35 and know what I know now, that would have been a bonus as well !!
So checking in quickly as things have been crazy. Have seen your 16th birthday celebration posts, sounds liek there are some nice ideas here. EE and DFW you made me laugh with the stories of your geeky boys. DD2 is a secret geek, quite happy for us to know but she keeps it hidden from her friends ! That way she gets to lead a double life she says !
DD1 was spoilt rotten on her birthday, singing Thursday night, she was taken out for dinner by the boyfriend Friday night, we had about 20 of her friends over Saturday night for drinks, nibbles and pressies then they went to the local Chinese for a meal ! First time we haven't paid for her birthday celebrations with her friends ever. It was a strange, yet satisfying feeling that they were all paying for themselves. . As DD1 reminded me whilst I was stressing over it, none of her friends parents ever pay for their children's birthday meals, so why should we pay for hers ! She has a point. That also meant that we could take her out ourselves on Sunday . I understand that she made quite an entrance into the restaurant after falling flat on her face getting out of the cab on arrival ! She got her heel stuck in the pavement, I understand the poor cabbie got quite an eyeful as her dress flew up in the air and she flashed her undies !! She thought it was hilarious !! :rotfl:I had dropped a cake into the restaurant earlier in the day and the lady had decorated the table for her. She had a fantastic time. Mr PG took Sunday off of work and we took her to her favourite Breakfast place in London for brunch and then we went to see a film . Monday we had 20 of the family over ,lots of pressies and I made a few curries. everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and it was relatively incident free ! Ish !! Last night was spent giving myself and DD2 a fashion show modelling her new outfits. She received more presents and cards yesterday and even more have arrived today. I really hope my birthday will be as much fun.:p
Mr PG has been absent since 3am the early hours of Tuesday morning, he has yet to sleep since then or come home. I am expecting him hopefully about 6pm tonight , will shovel some food down him and insist that he sleeps before he leaves at 5am tomorrow. This is not good. I am worried he will be ill.
On the work front from my point of you, we have managed to firm up some contracts for later in the year and also picked up something for 2015 which is nice to have in the bag. Did some additional freelance work yesterday on top of this, it all fits in around what we do anyway so worked nicely and brought in a few extra coffers. Today has been quieter so I have managed to get a few extra bits sorted - .
Additional £70 paid to THEM , signature updated. Cheque for £250 received from Mortgage Co as mentioned last week and apology. £100 received from Energy Company due to a mess up that they made so I complained again !!
Currently still in battle with the bank re the loan that we have arrears on. Additonal letters drafted today along with a complaint to the FOS re the bank charges. That letter needs some work when head a bit clearer. Piq and Mrs B I will get back to you re your kind offer on the endowment once I can get around to finding everything and have some time .
In addition 2 sacks of my 4 black sacks full of ironing have been done, just need putting away now. I hate that job as much as I hate ironing.
Still eating leftovers from Monday night, I will feed the last of that to Mr Pg this evening and make something nice and easy for the girls and I !
Right thats me done for now. Hope you are all well. Will try and check in on diaries later, if I dont have time please forgive me !!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Yey Mr PG has just walked through the door. He has been awake for 40 hours straight, with the odd power nap ! Dinner in microwave and I have told him he must go straight to bed.
The crazy idiot says he wants to try and stay awake to watch the football. Is he mad ?! xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I'm 35, tell me everything I need to know!!
So glad DD1 had a fabulous birthday (falling on her face with her knickers in the air aside!). Glad the friends paid for themselves too.
 to Mr PG being awake for 40 hours straight and double  for him wanting to watch the football (though can understand him wanting some relaxation time too).
And you, Mrs PG? When will you get your relaxation time?! XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Well I am still working, so I have poured myself a glass of wine in order to toast Mrs B's new and improved signature, so I guess that will be my relaxation for tonight !! Must do better tomorrow springs to mind ! Hows about you Be Lucky, I hope you are chilling !!
Mr PG wants to see the girls, so he is refusing to go to bed. DD2 has joined him on the sofa with her book and will make appropriate noises when the footie comes on to humour him !! Thats if he stays awake long enough.
I will do you a list of things you need to know by the grand old age of 35 and send it to you !! Something tells me that you know more than I ever did at your age ! xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

He managed 10 mins in front of the footie and then he crashed out ! He is safely tucked up in bed now, but I think the rest of us may all be kept awake tonight by his very very loud snoring !
On this occasion I think hes allowed !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
