    Hi Mrs PG
Glad the birthday went well x I'm the same. Even when I've worked so hard I can't think straight I need to have a buffer between work and bed otherwise I find my brain can't switch off in order to sleep anyway.

Just been looking at your signature. BIG difference in your tax. You are doing well with this ;)

I tend to read to unwind , Im not a TV lover really.

The tax is dwindling, still along way to go. We have until November to clear it and also have next years in hand ready to pay immediately. I can tell you now that we wont manage that, but I will worry about that in November ! :o

I'll join you in that toast (albeit with cherry pepsi max), can't wait til I'm as close to the finishing line as Mrs B.

Just sat down and I plan on staying in this spot until bed time!

I look forward to that list :p Xx

Hope you enjoyed the Cherry max Be Lucky ! My glass of vino was very yummy indeed. :D

I am so excited for Mrs B, I dread to think what I woudl be like if it was my signature I think I would be unbearable !

Hope you enjoyed your sit down if anyone deserves it its you. I am going to depart from this office now and try and relax for a bit before bed.

Sadly I dont think that sleep will come too easily as I have just discovered that DD2 has lost her Kindle. I am beyond angry, as she informed me in February that she had also lost her ipod and hadn't seen it since before December.:mad:

Its so unlike her, she is usually so organised and looks after her belongings so well. Its beyond me how she has become so disorganised. Oh and shes mislaid her riding hat, back brace and crop. She thinks she has left it at someones house but we have no idea whos. My patience isn't fab right now, so I am afraid she has been given a telling off this evening. Now I will keep myself awake worrying that I have told her off, and then get upset with myself for being angry . Thats what usually happens and I don't sleep a wink !!
    xx

I really, really hope I'm wrong and she has just lost them, but if this is very out of character, is there any chance that she's being bullied, has had them taken off her by the bully or bullies and is trying to cover up because she doesn't want to worry you? It happened to a friend's daughter a few years ago :(
  • I'm with caz but equally hope I'm wrong. Could she have sold some of the stuff?

I would be incredibly surprised if that has happened.Shes a popular girl with a huge crowd of friends . Shes always laughing and smiling . Although she is a little more of a closed book than her sister who would tell me immediately, it would take her a little longer to talk about it, we can always tell if something is worrying her. DD1 sees her in school all of the time and is always telling me how happy she seems.

If anything she still has moments of sadness about losing my dad and thongs are quite stressful at home so it could just be that like the rest of us her head is a bit full of fuzz. I do remember DD1 becoming exceptional forgetful at this age although she didnt lose things quite so expensive.

But I will definitely have another chat with her and double check things are ok at school. Thankyou xxx

I would be shocked if she had and again very doubtful. I think she is being particularly forgetful and they will come to light, but I could be proved wrong.xx

Ah, sounds like all is well there then - good :)

(I find thongs are always stressful, mainly due to the discomfort :p)

The Horse bits have come to light. Sent a few texts this morning and they have been found in the boot of her friends dads car from when she went to help them at their stables !!

I did have a chat with her about the other bits and she looked at me like I was a crazy lady when I suggested bullying. The last time she remembers having the ipod was when she sung at the school Christmas show in December, I have told her to ask in the music dept and check lost property at school this morning . I did tell her to do this weeks ago when she first realised it was missing, but she apparently forgot to do that as well !

As for the Kindle, that is currently a mystery we are yet to solve ! Shes been reading paperbacks for a while so it hasnt been used. I thought it was in the bedside drawer and she said she thought the same until I told her she could download a new book a couple of days ago and that's when she realised she couldn't find it. IT does get taken to school a couple of times a week. She is checking in her locker today.

I honestly think she is just being completely dippy at the moment and needs to snap out of it and fast before she loses anything else of value ! xx

I am calmer this morning than I was last night that's for sure. I was int he middle of a money stress out when she told me ! It was pretty bad timing ! xxx
