He hauled me to my feet , put me in a cab and paid the driver to take me home. Clearly I wasn't that drunk to remember his face, or my address. I actually think my heel got stuck as I climbed out of the train rather than me being too drunk to stand up ( that's my story and Im sticking to it )
;)
Anyhow, some 20 years later, I came across him at the opening of the Primary School wishing well, DD1 had the honour of cutting the ribbon. He looked straight at me and I swear he instantly recognised me. I have avoided any type of MP ish meeting or anywhere he may appear ever since

Yesterday I pushed the boat out and treated myself to a Sleep Cycle App for the phone !!
I am a rubbish sleeper as I have mentioned before so thought I would give this a try. Not quite sure what it will achieve, but as I am a bit of a saddo and love a graph and a chart I couldn't wait to wake up this morning and take a look.
It needs five sleeps to give an overall picture, but last night it it told me that I was only in bed for 6 hours, and only in a deep sleep between the hours of 1 and 2 and 5 and 6. It also gave me a warning that I hadnt moved much . Im not quite sure why that should be a problem but apparently it is ! Its very clever ( assuming its not a fake and tricking me, I can be a tad gullible at times ) I can set notes as to whether I have excercised, drunk wine, had a stressful day etc, it will also play me a choice of soothing music to make me fall asleep. I decided against that yesterday as most of the sounds were watery themes, theres enough of that going on outside with the persistent rain as it is and the noises made me need the loo ! It even says It can monitor my heart rate if I hold my finger over the lens of the phone after I had woken up, to see if I woke up nicely or with a start. The trouble was I was so bleary eyed that I couldn't find the damn lens to test that bit out.!
I will try again tomorrow xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

On the plus side, you know he's a nice man. Which for some MP's seem to be a rarity.PinotGrigio41 wrote: »Yesterday I pushed the boat out and treated myself to a Sleep Cycle App for the phone !!
Keep us informed - it might be something I have to consider. Although, I'd have to go back to the Apple Store and get my password reset (again). I've forgotten it completely and don't even know which of the four Gmail accounts / passwords I possess (work; friends; spam/competitions; other) its set up for. So, in the meantime, I can't download any Apps - even free ones as it keeps wanting my password to verify. Something else for the 'To do' list . . .0 -

I will employ you to be my endowment claim coordinatorxx
No I won't give up! Potentially there's a lot of money that is owed to you. In the future getting that money back may make the difference to you keeping your home or not. You don't need to worry about hurting the guy's feelings, who incidentally gave you terrible advice, He probably won't even work there anymore or won't remember you amongst all the other people he sold up the river.
I will see if I can find a template letter after work

DO you know what I remembered the other day ? Sitting in a car park crying down the phone to him ( after we had cashed in the endowment !) It was when the bank pulled the carpet from under our feet insisting on the £36K loan and asking him what on earth we were going to do. Mr PG was working in Iraq and I couldnt get hold of him and was at a complete loss. His advice then was to agree to the loan ! Hmmmmmm
I still feel bad though , hes closely linked to our accountant ( have I said this before?) who is the only decent one, who understands the business that we have found in 16 years of business and I have heard he has lost his home recently. This one may need to wait until I feel more myself and have got the other bits and bobs out of the way and need something new to focus on. xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I'm sorry but I had a little giggle at your dilemma with the local MP :rotfl:. No wonder you are not so keen to get him involved!
That sleep app sounds interesting, how does it work??? Sounds very hi-tec to mebut I don't usually understand things like this. How does it know you are asleep?! *confused*
I hope Mr Pg gets some time off in between jobs this weekend, sounds very tiring! He must have more energy than me as I was needing a nap after just reading about all the hours he puts in :rotfl:.
