I didn't get my usual box of veg this week as the owners are on holiday. Really missed and briefly considered going to supermarket to buy overpriced, well travelled veg. A workmate came to the rescue, bringing me stuff from his allotment as he had a surplus. As well as the (large) cabbage and the (very large) runner beans he brought me one onion. It does weigh 2lbs though! Thank goodness there's loads of onion recipes on here. One half of the world cannot understand the pleasures of the other0
