You must be getting better quality from Riverford than me as I have now cancelled mine - partly due to the fact that the quality has seemed a bit "off" of late and partly cos i can't seem to use it all up, even by getting one every fortnight.
i'll keep an eye and see how it goes before deciding whether to go back - or to try another company.I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
I am using a local company in Scotland and I have been pleased with them in the past, only cancelling previously because I lapsed into bad cooking habits and was not using the contents of my box. Hoping this time I will keep my motivation up as their produce is delicious and well worth the little increase in price. I will post my contents tomorrow and some meal ideas that I am considering.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0

Well so far we have enjoyed veggie pizza and there is currently a roasting tray of veg in the oven for tomorrow lasagna. Tonight I am going to use the onion and cauliflower to make a tasty korma with the other half of the cauliflower going to make soup for tomorrows lunch.
Currently overflowing with eating apples so I will need to find something new to do with them. Last week I made apple strudel muffins which were delicious but I don't want to keep making the same things.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
I hahve an Abel and Cole small fruit and veg box each week (which I love) and I also buy most of my groceries from there too. As I cook from scratch around 90% of the time I don't find out it works out more expensive than the supermarket.
This week in my box I had:- Bananas
- Kiwis
- Clementines
- Leeks
- Carrots
- Parsnips
- Potatoes
- Savoy Cabbage
- Rocket
- Tomatos
- Cucumber
- Corriander
- Parsley
- Yoghurts
- Milk
- Orange Juice
