It was £22, but I think that's the biggest box they do, that's a Family box to feed 4-5 for a week. They do either just fruit or veg or a mixture of both. They also do essential veg or fruit and seasonal.
They also do meat boxes, dairy and a whole host of other stuff.
These are the only ones I've found that deliver to me at the moment, I live just outside London. Although I must say I'm quite impressed, it was on my doorstep when I opened it a 7am so don't know what time it arrived.
I was disappointed that Riverdene didn't deliver to me as I preferred the contents of their boxes, they also seem slightly cheaper although I don't know the quantity of stuff you get. But I think that's cos I'm nervous of trying new things and everything in their boxes seems fairly basic iykwim.DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Hi, I live in the North West and get my veg box from northernharvest.co.uk they do a choice of sizes for veg/salad/fruit and offer organic and non-organic (from local farms).. When I first ordered from them, I automatically went for the organic ones - but have since changed to non-organic as I know this has come from local producers and seems a lot better value for money..
My one coming tomorrow is costing £10 for a veg/salad/fruit one so will let you know what I get...
I would recommend them to anyone in this area as I have always found that the food is lovely and they are easy to deal with..Jun GC £250.00/£12.40 NSD 3 / 30

Same where I live.
I emailed one company and they said they only give day of delivery not a time. I asked what would happen if I knew I wouldn't be there - they'd leave it on the door, or else give a lock up box that can be put outside my door.
They'd nick that too!!! :rotfl:
At that point I gave up on the box scheme theory!!!working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
My box scheme (Ripple Farm) delivers to local collection points and I pick it up from there once a week. I didn't like the idea of it just being delivered either - it wouldn't last long where I live!0

No they actually ask on the form what they should do if you're out and I said knock on my neighbours door cos I knew she'd be in. But I'm presuming as it must've been so early they just left it. I am fairly lucky where I live (probably jinxed it now  ), as my front door is at the side of the house so not as easily seen from the street, although the box was huge!DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
The quality of the veg from river nene is great, and if something goes off quickly, you usually get something free the next time; they will also let you chop + change what box you get + how often; abel + cole dont do that, they want you to get the same thing + every week. Tried them but the box seemed really small for the price and river nene gives a decent quantity of veg.0

I hope Riverdene hurry up and start delivering my way!DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0
