  • Tim responded very promptly to my e-mail of this afternoon. The answer may be useful to others, so here it is:

    'Winter Beauty Kits are in the process of being dispatched (first class / Royal Mail) from the warehouse and many have already arrived with people. Within the terms and conditions of purchase we do advise of a potential 28 days delivery period, yet we are also ensuring pre-Christmas delivery for all orders made prior to 13 December which with an order date of 03 December you are naturally included within. I would anticipate delivery Wednesday/Thursday.'

    Another here who ordered 17th Nov and have yet to receive my order.
    I find email the responses sketchy and non-committal.

    I asked yesterday when can I expect delivery and he replied with 'he thinks its been dispatched' and 'if I dont have it by the end of the week then email him again'.
    I requested tracking info as I paid for 2nd class signed for (we all did) and this has been ignored also.
    I find the T&Cs odd...
    Ownership of the Products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the Products, including delivery charges.
    So I own the goods I ordered and they are not sending them?! Theft?!


    Agent_C - I am confused that they have substituted the Pecksniffs. I was led to believe (in emails from tim) that the items were specifically manufactured for this beauty box. He also told me in the same email that the reason the OPI was replaced with NailsInc is due to a manufacturing issue and promised me that nothing else has been substituted.
    Makes me wonder where the substitutions have come from (old stock/local market!) as why wouldnt they manufacture the same amount of moisturiser as shower gel in the calm fragrance?!
    As I have not received my box yet I am concerned as I dont like the Gardenia fragrance and mainly purchased this for the pecksniffs calm.
    I am further confused as they gave my sister a different excuse when she emailed chasing her order.

    Such a sham.
    I struggle to find the difficulty in producing and supplying a box of products such as this - I just get a huge sense of unprofessionalism and now they have our money they are doing the bare minimum to try and keep people from complaining too loudly.
    My kids would do a better job!

  • Not sure it's anything more sinister than a very good offer made too close to Christmas, so (a) the demand is even higher than anticipated and (b) the Christmas rush is slowing things down even more.

    Probably not worth getting too hung up on conspiracy theories - and anyone who ordered within the last 28 days is still within the famous '28 days for delivery' period.

    Not conspiracy theories. I like to know the providence of things I buy and one expects to get what one orders - regardless of what the T&Cs say - especially as I ordered on the day the offer was launched...
    I ordered 17th Nov. Over 28 days ago.
    Tim cant even offer me an apology, he tried to fob me off with 'by the end of the week'.

    Just making others aware of the way this company operate.

    I have had nothing but a courtesy and speedy response from them.
    Not worried about the providence of products when the brands involved are so credible.

    I would email to info@allboxedup.co and just ask for clarity.

    Aside - thank you to everyone for the nail vanish lesson. It was very useful

    Call it a hunch but I'm suspecting your emails to them were a little aggressive? You really seem to be getting needlessly stressed by this. Personally all I can say is I've emailed Tim 3 times now (one to change a delivery address that had been left on my paypal erroneously when I was nursing my elderly father) and have each time received very prompt and courteous replies. But I live by the motto treat other people how you would wish to be treated yourself.

    Received mine today. Nails Inc polish instead of OPI, but everything else as advertised.

  • Oh I am really happy with mine. Came last week with the only sub being the Opi which I don't mind. The nails Inc replacement is super actually. I have the Pecksniff's advertised - both Calm.

    This is a superb offer but you really have to be happy with what you get at the price with these promotions. I bought the digital weather station on a Telegraph offer. The offer went up on HUKD and they were inundated. They still honored all the purchases from those clearly not through the paper which was great. I bought it in February for my husband's birthday in March and think I received it sometime in the summer, much to my husband's amusement. All that time he had been waiting for this mystery gift haha.
