Of course it's about the money - she's out for every penny she can get. All this rubbish about doing it for the memory of Maxie is just that rubbish.
COMPO all the way (or not in this case as is likely).0 -
And it won't be the Old Bailey, so regardless of the outcome it probably won't merit more than a paragraph in the court section of your local paper. Some victory that will be.
I don't think either of our local papers even bother reporting Small ClaimsIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
I am rejecting it because if I go to court at least this kind of veterinary negligence that is so difficult to fight will be made public. Standing up to the negligent vets is almost impossible due to UK laws and regulations. There are many people like me who had to give up because of the cost involved. To be honest I hoped that they will not pay all my claim so I can do it. The thing is they still might pay my full claim.
I know this has been asked before but it is worth repeating, what outcome do you want from this - an explanation, an apology, or money?0 -
Now it's getting late I expect a load of posts by the OP which will have no bearing on the advice given0

Sorry to spoil your fun. Off to bed.0 -
Not that late.
My 3 year old has driven me batty today and it really has felt as though I have been talking to myself.
Tonight when I tucked her up in bed I told her that I was not going to read her a bedtime story because she had not listened to me today when I needed her to and I wasn't going to read to her just because she now wanted to listen. I explained that Mummy says things to her because they are important, because being a 'big girl' means not just learning new things by doing them, like writing her name, but also by listening to adults.
She gave me a big hug and a kiss and told me she was sorry.
Does this strike any chords ..... anyone?0
