We've seen quite a few TNT postmen around Manchester, some on bicycles, some on foot. I regularly see one go past the end of our road every morning around 8:10am.

One day last week, a TNT postman on foot stopped me to ask for help finding a particular address. He showed me the printed map he'd been given, and it was poor quality with no real identifying features (such as the local railway station). He said they have to work out & print off any maps they need before going out on the round. Personally I'm not surprised that post takes forever to get delivered ...

They will be using google maps or whatever
same as RM does when they send some new start out
In theory you only need the starting point and a rough layout of the streets
    the mail leads you
of course TNT will have much less mail which actually makes it harder to keep on route

Thats great compared to the jokers at royal mail

23 days and counting for a 1st class signed for letter to be delivered.

Still acceptable according to royal mail customer services.

You could have walked, with the time you have spent posting about it

    I am allowed too.

Quicker the jokers go the better. Royal Mail has been poor for years.

I saw the "We love parcels" advert. They did miss the word "delaying"

I just had 3 letters delivered by Royal Mail stamped with "TNT delivered by Royal Mail". The 'stamps' looked as though they had all been relabelled with that. One letter/bill was at least 3 weeks late.
So anyone know if TNT have now given up their delivery in Manchester?

  • Nope had a delivery from TNT Mail at 8am Royal mails delivery at 1530

Still a poor show from Royal Mail

    Are you in Manchester?

I'd prefer an early morning RM delivery but at least they're delivering daily, if TNT are holding on to mail for a week it doesn't really matter what time of the day they finally deliver it.

or do they deliver to every door at 8am?
  • I don't know but post at 8am is better than post after 3.
