Universal Jobmatch created for sanctions

But the point I am making is marybelle stated wait for it: I post everyday.
You were very keen to point out that others can't read. I said every other day. Can't you read?
Seriously, what is the point of constantly complaining about what others can't do or what might happen? You say we don't know anything about you. Maybe not. But if we did we might be able to help! I know you live in or near the Greater Manchester conurbation. An area of dense population and many job opportunities. It may still be hard out there, but significant improvement in jobs is showing now in some industries and things are improving slowly, especially in city regions. It could be a lot worse - you could live in Hull where the only thing you have to look forward to is being the City of Culture in 2017 (sorry Hull!).
The last time you were here you said it wasn't possible to job search for 35 hours - it seems from what you say that in the last week you have found that it is. So why not use the expertise of the many people who post here to see what you might do to improve your chances? Isn't that a better option than complaining all the time about what isn't possible? You never know. Scarily, someone might come up with an idea that works....0 -
Just out of interest does it show something if you click on that same job again? Like 'you have already marked this job' etc?Stourie_Fit wrote: »Which option was the "wrong one"? I used that dropdown all the time (it helped me keep track of which ads I'd already seen) and I was never sanctioned for it. No-one even mentioned it.We’ve had to remove your signature. Out of interest, the OP here has just criticised someone who has been sanctioned for allegedly not making enough effort to job seek. I am wondering if the OP would like to clarify - are they in favour of sanctions or not? Or is it only that they are in favour of sanctions when THEY think they are warranted?0

Well Sorry I don't agree with you, a few people I know didn't know...
Do you think that their inability / unwillingness to read, think or understand might explain why they, and you, seem to have so much trouble staying in work, or staying within the rules for benefits?
If you spent as much time sorting out your life as you do moaning on here, you'd be CEO of a major corporation by now.0 -
marybelle01 wrote: »How many times are we going to have a variation of this debate? If the OP put as much energy into job-seeking as they do into starting a new thread on what is unfair about job-seeking every other day, they might be employed by now.
I should have read this and agreed rather than post the same thoughts just up above. Well said.0 -
Wow at least they have one thing 'working' on itStourie_Fit wrote: »Something like that. It's been a few weeks, so I can't remember the exact phrase, but it did tell you that you'd marked it as inappropriate.
Edit: I can check if you want. Now that I'm employed, it doesn't really matter if I randomly reject a job on UJM.
Edit the second: Yup. When you access it again it says:
Your feedback for this job:
Job is too far from my home
(With the bit at the bottom changing depending on what you select.)

No its not made to catch anyone out.
You do not need to give consent that's why there is a tick box.
I disagree, it was designed with making sanctioning easier for JC advisers in mind. What IDS failed to realise is that EU and UK law prevents the use of UJM from being mandatory as he wishes it to be.0 -
So why have we all not had sanctions? I do not even have a UJM account and the advisor knows this.I disagree, it was designed with making sanctioning easier for JC advisers in mind.
