Ok, after an hour an twenty minutes I received just the code, no instructions (I have messaged him), in the meantime if anyone can guide me through the procedure, plus maybe help me with one or two other queries, I'd be grateful

Haven't got the phone myself, but it's usually it's a case if popping in a sim from another network, booting up and you'll be prompted to enter an unlock code

Hi imlost, the other phone I have is on monthly contract from Orange, I have a PAC code, I want to go over to the OVIVO one off SIM purchase, just want to do it correctly and save me any grief ie loosing my number etc

    Thanks!

Putting your orange sim into a new phone won't be any concern of Orange, and won't affect you using the PAC.

Got £20 in tesco vouchers through thepost today for signing up to the sun trial for a quid. add that in with a £10 off code and could get one for £69.

Should I? Convince me to buy one lol, not that I need convincing much

Contract is up in a month or so and was planning on going sim only anyway.

Won't do any harm, won't lose your number or anything. Unlocking won't do anything to the sim or tie it to the new phone, it's simply used to promt a connection to another network which in turn will prompt for an unlock code

So how do I move my number over to OVIVO etc, will my SII, as I am out of contract with Orange automatically be unlocked too?

No your Orange phone will not be unlocked you will have to ring them to get it unlocked...you may even have to pay them to do it not sure on that bit.
