hope the meeting goes ok and the school are supportive/understanding re Pip and his attendance.3

Hopefully the school will be able to give some helpful solutions to improve Pip's attendance and not to dare to put any blame or shame on the two of you. Good Luck xx2

Thank you. It's hit me like a gut punch - I'm feeling anxiety in a way that I've not really felt since leaving teaching. And in addition, dh is talking with phrases including 'should', 'must', 'needs to know that...' as regards Pip getting to school. Pip knows all that, but his disability is not a visible one. Add in PDA and he is unable to do what he knows needs to be done, and what he wants to do.A quiet day today. We'll be giving Pip's old garage/carpark to a neighbour's son - from Santa of course. And some other neighbours will get a boxful of sylvanians.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!5

The meeting was just so much better than I could ever have hoped for 😁. Phew.Yesterday I did a short workout at home, using my 16k kettlebell for most of it. Today I went to the gym and did most of another workout with a 20k kettlebell. About 10 minutes ago, I had trouble getting up from sitting on the floor and getting up the stairs 🤣🤣🤣.Yesterday we had an invigilator meal at the house of one of the bunch and it was such a lovely evening. Best of all, it was only 15 minutes away.Just one more day of school for Pip, and it's the annual talent show! He'll be taking his earplugs! We found the 2 hour Sister Boniface on our recording box so have watched most of it this evening. Not as well developed as Father Brown, but very enjoyable nonetheless.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!5

Glad the meeting went well. What a relief.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -

Oh my life! We don't break up til 20th and they go back on 7th.
Enjoy your time with Pip and Mr Apple and have lots of fun.
Totally empathize with dread feelings anytime you have to deal with a school. I think I am traumatised by 19 years (and counting) of having kids in school. Only 4 years left....
