NSD 1 in the bag - 17 more to go!
Eating is going fine, although tomorrow will be more of a challenge, returning to work after 2 weeks off... Will have to get around to some exercise soon...
Dd and I have made and painted our poppies for her school today. And I've knitted 2 more stripes of her sleeve - go me!
Still to do: dd's lunch, dd's uniform, PE bag, book bag, shoe boxes, poppies. Then my lunch, my clothes (ironing alert??), my school bag.
Also to do: a list of when the big bills go out, hang up the hall door curtain, make cakes for dd's lunches.
We currently have Frozen on and dd is wearing her Elsa dress. All good preparation for her party! She is insisting dh type the song words out as they are sung :rotfl:.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
:j I have just done a mini workout :j
A Zuzka Light one: 5 mins of 10 fore and back jump squats, 10 side crunch L, 10 R, 10 plank + leg under to side squat and back. Managed 2 rounds and down to 7 side crunch R. Enough to sweat a ton!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
So, day 3 done. And another NSD acquired.
First day back at school after a 2 week break. And we always have an after work meeting. Boo hiss! This was a biggie, but finished bang on time, so a small hoorah for that.
Primal eating going fine, I think. Still sugar and grain-free. Have run out of eggs . Maybe MWC can post me some - I lkke them scrambled!! So, with no eggs, my easy protein souce will revert to cottage cheese. Until weds, when I can get to aldee.
Now that the weather is turning chilly, I'm sooooo glad the fleecy curtains are all pinned up - I feel warm and snug just looking at them! I still need to do the hallway door one, and think I may need to trim it as it is so wide. That's a job for tonight, once dd is asleep. But after hanging up the washing and making lunches.
(have only just realised that when I press the space bar twice on the tablet, it not only does 2 spaces, but puts a full stop in too!)
Was asked if I could work an extra day or 2 this week. Thought about it, but the impact on dd is too great. And it would require great favours from lovely neighbour. And re-arranging a nurse's appointment. And re-arranging my shopping day! Twas the latter that swung me towards the negative reply!! :rotfl:NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Going fine food-wise, and I've managed a whole day without eggs
. Dh did buy some on his way home, so normality/normalcy(?) returns.
A lovely day at work, where it was clear how much progress some of the older kiddies are making.
A lovely evening with dd - once she'd eaten her 4 toast soldiers and got her energy back up - too. I'm so glad she adores both her teacher and TA this year and always has happy things to tell me about them.
No crafting for a few days - when I think about the fair, I'm starting to stress a little. So tomorrow I MUST paint the twigs again and try them in the potsto stand them up. Ideally, I'd clear the table (:rotfl:) and set up a pretend stall. If that space is not available, then I could do the same on the floor... Whatever I do, I should just get on with it!
Tomorrow:
- school runs
- aldee amd ?sains?
- nurse at 10.40
- workout
- set up a pretend stall
- 20 mins on tidying emails
- marking
- stuff some arms and legs
- rearrange dentist appointments
- sweep
- colours wash
- wash up
- re-list what I have for dd for Cmas and her bday
Off for a browse...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Thank you greent. We have the thanksgiving service for him on the 21st, which will also be emotional, but draining in a more positive way than the funeral.

So, some stuff done...and loads of walking as I only took the bus once out of a possible 4 times.
I confess I popped into the 2 ch shops. One has a £1 rail, which is where I look first! Got some trousers, a top that ends up being minuscule across the biceps so will be used for crafting, and a top/dress thingy that has a gorgeous hem that will be perfect for girly bunnies!
Pretend stall was useful. I need to make the bottles/containers where I have put the twigs in stay upright! And I reckon a 10 kilo bag of lidl rice should help... Will pop there soon.
Also need to price things up - after deciding on prices! - and make them clear. Then do I offer 2 for less? Do I stick the prices on or make labels?
Well, looking at emails is not my fave activity so I shall set the timer for 20 mins...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
