Sounding good, apple! Happy Christmas! That's reminded me to go back and edit the last post on my diary, though I too will probably be on here tomorrow. I hope Pip's recovery continues tomorrow.2023: the year I get to buy a car3

I have started Christmas day with a measure and a workout, while watching Scooby doo in the Himalayas. Awesome start to the day (apart from the measure...😵)!

I have been blessed with so many lovely presents! For some reason, dh got me a tin of quality street, a green and b1acks selection box and a box of after8s... He also sourced a f1tb1t (the one that I prefer). Mixed messages, what!!!I love the box of needlefelting stuff that I bought myself off gumt for a mere £20. It contains a load of stuff and I reckon there's enough needle and foam thingies for me to offer classes - part of my 2023 adventure.I also have some gf shortbread, iced cmas cake, chocolate dome (which is like a massive tiffin in a dome shape!), booja booja chocs, a slab of honeycomb choc, crimbles munchies, a knitting book, fabric, ribbons, buttons, a 1000 piece jigsaw of almond blossom (gulp), muscari to grow (that's grape hyacinths to us plebs), an ink pen, a leatherish satchel (my choice, my purchase - it is perfect for work/invigilatoring), a tee shirt, honey (twice!), an 0xfam gift, rings (my choice), salomon walking shoes (my choice), two vouchers for wat3rst0nes and cool tongs for turning pip's bacon over without burning my fingers.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!5

Me and pip have been to town! Ostensibly to look for/at new sch shoes, max of 4 shops. Pip looked a little but saw nowt that grabbed them. Same in the 3nt3rta1n3r. Then we went to H20stones as we'd got vouchers for there. Found me two books- 1 is fiction recommended (and soon to be borrowed) by pip, and one that's got lovely needle felting techniques and ideas. Pip had had enough by now so we came home. At least it got us both out and about.

I have glanced through all my old notebooks and written a gazillion things in the 2023 notebook. One thing that struck me like a frying pan to the head when glancing through the last 15-16 months is the number of times I mention anxiety, overwhelm, knots of tension, tears, worries... And I mean mine, not pip's!In the past I've used the phrase 'health, wealth and a life well-lived' (from Craig Ballantyne) as a focus. I might use that next year: 4 months an health; then 4 on wealth (at the end of which I leave my sch); and finally 4 on a life well-lived... Or simply mush all three parts together on a daily basis...Time to have a ponder on what each part means to me 🤔 - that's my thinking face!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!5

Certainly have a think, and certainly mush them together - I couldn't do that every day, though, my head would explode! Perhaps weekly would be enough2023: the year I get to buy a car2

Could you think of it less as mushing and more of a natural blending as you move from one to the other? So starting off with health (both mental and physical), but during month 3 you start slowly planning wealth into it, which then helps maintain health throughout the wealth period, and towards the end of it the building up towards leaving school means you can start to make the plans for life well-lived, which will carry over some of the health habits you built up at the start and draw in the wealth plans."You won't bloom until you're planted" - Graffiti spotted in Newcastle.
