You are clearly rocking the "house to self" lark. Elephants, coffee, chocolate and you tube videos ....sounds idealMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -
The weekend is done, nearly. Dc doesn't want to go to school tomorrow at the mo. Sigh. They have just dyed their hair with the orange temporary dye we thought we might use over the cmas hols but never did. I don't think it will really show up, but may give a tint in certain light. And may be an impetus for dc to go to school...They have spent several hours up in their room today. That may be normal teen behaviour, but not our dc. However, they have badly needed to go and just chill for the last couple of days, but can only do that when in a certain frame of mind...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3

Maybe it's a good thing dc is experimenting with that sort of teenage behaviour? They do sound like they run themselves ragged 🏃🏻♀️ 💃🏻 🧗🏻♀️ 🏊🏻♀️ I hope you don't mind, I had fun with these emojis - these are running, dancing, rock climbing (bouldering?) and swimming2023: the year I get to buy a car4

I hear you on the teen front.
Mine has anxiety running out of control.3 -
Dc asdiagnosed first with anxiety, had counselling, time with camhs. But there was always more to it. Much more. The next stage of an autism assessment takes place next week - had to be postponed due to a family emergency for the clin psych. I consider us very fortunate to only have been postponed for two weeks.Personally, I really didn't want to get up this morning. Off to wake dc in a few mins...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!6

I am always grateful that I don't work on a Tues. Today I took myself to the gym for a good arms/shoulders session. My knees are both rather swollen, especially the left one, and like a twerp, I keep on exercising them... So today I didn't 😎.But I did do a couple of laundry loads, cook up some chicken legs, declutter some recorded programmes, do a smidgen of money stuff, find 4 bargainaceous gf/dc brownie mixes for 64p each and a hoodie £2 and yoga pants style trouser £2.13 for me. And collect dc and read a lot and do a little work admin.Tomorrow is trips day at work but I'm not assigned to one cos I have y11 and 13 so will be teaching. On paper I should have a wonderfully light day. Hmmm. Wonder which staff will be off sick... Oh, how cynical I am towards the lightweight shirkers....NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4

Your path with DC sounds very similar to ours. We've just had the assessment and waiting on results.4 -

I got one medium size cauli, which when you took all the leaves off is smaller than my fist - buyer beware
I eat the leaves anyway so have been munching on them every time I go through the kitchen, 2 apples, 6 bananas, one huge grapefruit, mushrooms - 3 large field type ones, one red pepper, two green peppers, a live coriander plant, 3 bunches of spring onions, 5 carrots and one single lonely potato all on its own at the bottom. Plus 20p for 8 burger buns - the kids want burgers for supper tonight, so that was really handy.
How you feeling today apple? holding it all together okay? Remember, you can only control what you can control, the rest is out of your hands.I only have 2 weeks left until Feb half term, what about you?4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
