They managed a whole day at sch today. Phew. I had a gym session that was tough on my shoulders and upper back, which is really becoming apparent now, 9 hours later!!

Got my covid booster. Twas a Dr what jabbed me and I really felt it! The chap after me said that he reckoned he was going soft, cos he really felt it too.  So it was probs the jabber what jabbed us hard, not us being all soft... And my arm is tender tonight, on top of the workout soreness.

Found out from big sis that an uncle has died. I only met him once, vaguely, aged 12, so no memories of him. Still sad, though.

Ugh.

Slept very badly. My balance went, so I could only sleep on my back and any turning over made me nauseous. My arm is very very achey after the jab. The ibu and paracetamol wore off in the night. I slept lightly and was up a couple of times. Had many dreams, nowt weird, just a relentless stream of dreams/thoughts. And I ache all over and have a headache.

And today is fair#1! I have all my stuff downstairs, but it needs sorting and pricing. The tables aren't huge, and dc has made some bracelets to sell, so they want some space. They are at least foregoing dance this afternoon, so I'll have company.

Dh is taking dc bouldering this morning, so I reckon I'll have a hot bath and a good scrub. And hopefully start to feel better. It's a busy weekend, as I'm on kids klub tomorrow too.

If I do a LF test after the jab, will it come up as positive?

Anyhow, 'nuff whinging!

Thank you Mrs Money Penny. I also asked Mr Google and found that same answer. So I just feel cr** but  have no lurgies to pass on.

I've just had a hot bath, hair wash and a good scrub, so along with a dose or paracetamol, am feeling a bit better.

I'll take tablets with me, to keep on top of it. Will be out 12ish - 6ish, so quite a while.

Good luck with the stall, you will be fabulous.  It snowed here for about an hour and half this morning so I sat with a lovely coffee and watched fat flakes falling. Then it all went away with about 3 minutes of rain. boo! 

I have our boosters booked for next Sat lunchtime, will stock up on the little white pills, thanks for the warning.

The fair was just lovely. Sold mostly low priced items (£1+2) and made over £100 including the table price.. Nice 🙂. I'd like to say that I know what I need to make to replenish stocks for my school fair, but there's no guarantee that the same things will sell. However, I will be needle felting penguins!

I kept myself dosed up with paracetamol, and really hope to sleep better tonight.

Am feeling much better. Kept dosed up with pills, last ones being this morning, and haven't needed any since.

My St JW arrived and day 1/90 has been swallowed.

Dc is close to a meltdown but really scared of having one. Especially if it arrives at school. I have no idea what to do... Nor have they... But dh is primed for if they need collecting. We're so blessed that he works at/from home, for himself, and is able to be totally flexible.

So, we have to wear masks in shops again. Hadn't given mine up. I'd lay bets on schools not being closed, and exams not being cancelled. The A level kiddies are the ones first hit at their GCSE time, so no way would Boris allow a cohort through without them ever having sat a 'proper' exam... Now that all exam kiddies have to sit 3 sets of full, proper, kosher mocks, their stress and anxiety levels are through the roof. You cannot, in my subject at least, examine a kid now and get anywhere near the grade they will get in may/June time.

And why have they named the new variant Omicron???? We had Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta. The first 4 letters of the Greek alphabet. Then we suddenly jump to the 15th letter. Have there been 11 variants we've not heard about...?

Pah. Off to read my book and snuggle down soon. Cos dc could be back at any time...
