I think we may get to this point. She really struggles to try anything new, but helping me to make the covering - or at least agreeing the ingredients with me - may help.

0cad0 might be your friend in this one. They list 14 different kinds of g/f chicken nuggets - or maybe you know someone who gets an 0cad0 delivery and you could just add yours on to theirs?  M&S also have home delivery through 0cado - so all their stuff is on there in addition to the 14 odd ones above.  Kievs, goujons, all sorts.

So far, dd is happily eating the Birdz eye nuggets. We bought 3 boxes and can get them via 0cad0 too. Imagine: £40 of nuggets!!! Though that is only about 12 boxes of 20. (compared with a gazillion more of those made using wheat flour)

I have spent a lot of time recently moderating a colleague's pupils' work to submit for tags.  It has been a very frustrating process, and I have made a grid of marks given by colleague v marks given by me, plus comments. There are a LOT of comments - mis- marking, just plain old !!!!!! poor application of the mark scheme, one case of adding up a total score wrong by 10. (easy to do, but it changed the grade by 2 or 3 levels!!!) There's one whole section of work that I don't feel we can submit as they only cover 2/3 or 4/5 of the relevant papers...

This probably doesn't make much sense, and it probably shouldn't! I'm just so annoyed with my colleague!!!!! It doesn't help that said colleague is a moaner, is always put upon, someone who always works oh-so-much harder than anyone else, is overloaded, unappreciated... But when I mention jobs elsewhere that they might like, get the response that they are staying put here. They really have no idea how easy they have it where they are....

I need to seriously tidy up my living environment.

Yesterday I was overwhelmed by having a myriad of papers to moderate (different tiers of entry, different years, different mark schemes... all in different piles) spread out over the floor.

But it is not simply the fault of those papers.

No one else has made my mess and no one else can clear it up.

I guess that just leaves me...!

Having seen a little bit of what teaching staff are going through with TAGs all I can say is you're doing a great job (most of you!) and hang in there! X

You sound just like my DH!  They are working to rule, so not submitting marks for the modules,  but he is still doing the marking, just giving the kids all the feedback and advice, but no official grade - the grade is on his spreadsheet that he can fire off as soon as they are no longer working to rule. It is not the kids fault the management are being twonks, they need to know their feedback.  It is a difficult balancing act.    There are some staff who have taken it as license to just stop doing any work and it is those who do the most moaning if they are called up on it.  They do say an empty vessel makes the most noise.
