Dd had a superb phone call appt with our GP today, and he has said that she can use the 'i have anxiety' label to describe herself. He is also going to make a referral for the next step. She is so relieved and it's like a weight has been lifted off her. So good!

I am grateful that the weather was good today. I caught my first train at 6.02am, and arrived at the station near the home at about 9.20. So I did pay a brief visit to the 4 Ch shops, and sainz, before my test, then had to wait for it sat on the ground by their front door!.All clear, so in to see mum. No glasses and very few teeth and long (for her- only about Bob length) hair. But she knew me 😀. She was on form and very chatty. Then out and back to the trains. The main intercity ones are decidedly less frequent, being every hour whereas before they were every 20 mins, so I'm glad I was able to plan ahead.Mum loved the flowers, both real and paper, and the sandals were a hit as well as a top I found in one of the Ch shops. The shoes squished her toes across her foot, so they've come back with me. The lindt chocs were too big for her mouth(esp with no teeth!!) But she insisted I eat one too. Only later did I check the ingredients and they contain barley. Uh oh. Because she can't fit them in her mouth, they too have come back with me.I also brought all the rubbish/wrapping from the flowers as mum has, once again, disappeared her bin...!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2

I'm so glad you found her on form! And it sounds like the journey went as smoothly as it could have done.2023: the year I get to buy a car1

The end of the hols has arrived. It has felt like a long break, no doubt helped by having some lovely sunny weather.I got the remaining 3 fence panels stained this afternoon and dh made some toppers for the uprights, to try to reduce the amount of rain that gets inside them and down the grain.I was just writing up tomorrow's lessons when I realised that we start on week B, not week A. Whoops. I think my lessons will still work within the half term, but it was a fiddly bit of twiddling my plans for dates/rooms...I must admit, I feel quite calm about the TAGS, and I'm wondering if I've not got it right...! Or maybe my brain is refusing to get too involved, as there's enough other stressors closer to home going on...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!1

I had a really lovely first day back; it was full on, but good.Dd was back at ballet in the evening, so I did a tosco shop and got her lots of lovely things. Then I still had time to go for a bit of a run in the park opposite. Yay!Today has gone really well. Dd went to school with a friend; I did a good sainz shop; I bumped into a neighbour on my way home so had a quick chat; then turned round and another neighbour was coming down the path. She has been the cause of a mass of anxiety in my gut for the last 10 days, but to cut it all short, it is now all sorted. I am just so relieved! But I still went to the gym as a stress-buster. My gym session was deliberately very hard. I used 12 and 20kg kettle bells, then did 20 mins on the treadmill at 3mph and at 12% incline. Then I popped into liddle (mango required!!) and couldn't resist getting a veg box (autocorrected to veggie!!)I am now fed and procrastinating over marking some y12 work. It has to be done by tomorrow, so I'd best just get off here and do it....NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!1
