I hope to sleep like a log again, get up and put on the coffee, do my covid test, eat, dress, kiss dd + dh goodbye and go to work.

All done up to the kissing good bye and going to work parts. Off to do those now.
    Test was negative.
    Still need more sleep...

    Still pooped.
Dd had a fairly rough night and came in to us at 11 (about 20 mins after I'd dropped off) and needed me to sleep on her floor. So I made up a bed, (trying to find space for it was fun!), where I wasn't right next to her music, nor was I facing the lamp she has on the floor.... 3 yoga mats and 2 folded fleece blankets under a sheet made it fairly comfy, plus a double duvet on top, in a space not much wider than the yoga mats= a snug bug! She woke at 3.45 in pain so I gave her meds and she was asleep within about 30 mins. I then dreamed about having to fill in an online form about her absences as they were concerned! And also tried to sleep until my alarm went off at about 6.30.
She has had a mellower day, and spend 99% of it upstairs, as going down stairs was too much effort and would at some point require going up the stairs. Logical! She still has waves of lingering pain, but the intensity is less than several days ago. It's surprising how long this is going on for...
I had a good day at work. Had a really useful TAGS meeting with the other French teacher; had a positive lovely chat with the Head; enjoyed my classes; had a pupil who I mentor bound up to me to tell me that he has his army interview tomorrow; got some admin done; drove home without incident (always a good thing...).

That sounds like your own night was pretty rough, apple.  But I'm glad to hear she's no longer in such extreme pain.  Definitely still pretty ill, though :(

Shame you cannot shunt DH into her bed and you two have a slumber party in your big bed.
Hope today is sunshine and squirrels and dd is much better tonight - remember, naps  are both big and clever (but not the new rock n roll)

I have suggested that, f0xh0les, but she wants her own bed where she can wriggle and writhe and not worry about kicking me. So she says! Apparently she did wake up in the night and I was snoring...
Anyway, I had a great day at work. I just avoid people who are twerps as much as possible, and enjoy the pupils' company. Today's lessons were all good fun, with smiles and going off at tangents. And much learning, naturellement.
I finished at lunchtime and came home via liddle because we had run out of mango and cottage cheese. As you do. Got a couple of reduced items too!
And dd is continuing to improve. She is now simply exhausted rather than being exhausted and dealing with severe pain. Yesterday she talked about maybe doing 1 lesson today, but when it came down to it, she just had no energy for it.
