Dd is in pain.

Not going to school; may do online if pain abates; may go to A+E again if pain worsens (that was the advice of our GP, so I feel no guilt in going if required)

Sigh.

It has lessened, so no need to go out a'wassailing today.

She is just exhausted by it again as it really puts her off eating and drinking. and you all know how much she (doesn't) like eating in the first place... I have told her that she will not have to do any school work today as she is just too feeble. But that means I have to be mean over the weekend...

Looking forward to April and the NST Diamonds and Daisies challenge. I am desperate for the ch shops to be open again, so may have to give myself a limited amount of money to spend there, to make is more of a considered time of purchasing rather than an all-you-can-buy buffet!

We have survived the weekend and dd has announced that she is going to school this week. She's only got 3 days to get through, so I hope she can make it... We know that there is catching up to be done, but that will have to be in the hols now. Dd wants to meet up with about 5 friends individually, and I think she is wishing to alternate a day of schoolwork + a day of seeing someone.

It is odd to think that tomorrow is my last day of term in the building. I will ensure it is a jolly nice day for all my classes.

Dd sure as heck aint feeling quite so chipper this morning - it's the 2nd morning after the clocks change where it kicks in!

I'm off for my last day of working in the building for a bit. I have had a coffee, poured another one into a thermal mug, and will pot up breakfast to take with so that I can enjoy it at leisure later on.

Yesterday was day 1 of 'eat as much as you like so long as it is veg, fruit, nuts, seeds and a little animal produce' (not a little animal like a squirrel or fieldmouse, though!)
