@apple_muncher I am sorry to hear this! I've often wondered about some of your current or maybe former colleagues as seem to remember some bullying towards you at the start of your diary? It tells us a lot about them, nothing about you.  I know the current situation isn't helping but they are probably jealous.   Are there other incidents involving them against anyone? Love Humdinger x 

Thank you humdinger . At the beginning of the diary, it was the then Head. She eventually got removed. Phew. To be honest, there's a load of good people where I work. But the neggy ones are vociferous and 'victims' of any and everything. I try to avoid them, but every so often have to say something. Offense is very easily taken by some... Twerps.

Dd is up and taking much fewer painkillers so far. I have written to her school to say she won't be there, possibly for the week, as we are focussing on pain management. She may be ok for some lessons, but I ain't telling them that!! She has eaten a little breakfast and lunch and had no intestinal reaction - phew.

We have just watched Archer being rescude from the Klingon penal colony. Now for the rugby.

Poor DD, and poor you for ending up in hospital with her! Sounds like she's on the mend, I'll cross my fingers that she continues to improve through the week!

Good to hear she's made a little bit of progress.  

Archer!  I never watched that all the way through but I loved Scott Bakula, and I loved the first version of the theme tune and the graphics and edits.  Thrilling!  

Anyway ... back to reality, sorry.  I hope she continues to improve.  And that you and your OH don't run yourselves into the ground.

So, for those who want an update: dd was woken at 9ish and ate some toast; she came downstairs for a v small lunch and stayed on the sofa until now, when we are chilling upstairs before bed. She has had no painkillers since 11am and her waves of pain are much reduced compared with the last 2 days. We have watched Archer being rescude -dd wanted to watch the whole episode!- and also Goodnight Mr Tom and had a little cry at it. I shall leave her in dh's capable hands tomorrow and head to work, where I will have an uneventful day!

I hope to sleep like a log again, get up and put on the coffee, do my covid test, eat, dress, kiss dd + dh goodbye and go to work.

Unless the test is positive... !
