Monday is done. Photocopy, file, meeting, mentor, teaching, meeting, teach, duty, informal meeting, teach, run club, admin and... get home :). It was a good day in that nowt got thrown at me as extra , apart from the middle meeting but that was my choice as it did combine 3 other meetings and meant we were finally caught up with our tails. For now...

Tomorrow might only be: school run, gym, emails, food shopping(?), before an event back at sch 6-8pm.

I have done the school run (just as well - it's nearly 2.30pm!) and went straight to the gym. Where I did a hard session, surprise, surprise. Followed by a tough 5 min finisher. Then I walked/jogged the ~3 miles home and finished up having a wonderful bath!
Waitr00se was calling me - we have a gift voucher to use - so I rushed for (and caught) the half-hourly bus and sussed out their gf range. Pretty poor in my opinion... Then I walked most of the way home. Go me - over 13k steps thus far.
Normal food shopping aint happening - don't want to lose an nsd, haha.

Am staying collapsed in front of tv recordings for a bit now.

My second mad day at work is done. I had this one mapped out hour by hour like Monday, which helped me to see where things fitted in. It was the first day of extra teaching plus a lunch time meeting. Tomorrow should just be a normal teach 4/4 lessons...

And I'd like to get to the gym afterwards...

I'm up to 18 nsds for the month, which is quite extraordinary considering that I've not really been planning my spends much. B)

It was a good day. I was shunted out of the room I was teaching in for 3 periods, but it just added to the fun! (And helped out the dep head.) I was more excited than my y10s at the snowstorm we had :D. Though they were very happy to watch it from the windows with me, wondering if it would settle...

I did get to the gym and I did do a tough session. I think that I work harder when I'm there than when I'm at home. But that could also be because I'm ensuring I get my money's worth! I'm not yet using any equipment that I don't have at home (apart from the super duper boditrax weighing and measuring machine thingy) but I didn't think I'd be using any weights for quite a while yet. So I'm kind of ahead of myself. I'm following a kettlebell 15 min 3x workouts per week, which I'll do for another 2-3 weeks. Then try another 4-week one that takes my fancy.

Dd managed to bash her knee and twist her ankle whist doing the hurdles, so I'll prob take her to sch in the car tomorrow. Then go to a big sainz, then visit aldee.

I strapped up dd's ankle this morning, so it is clear that she is injured!

I did use the car to take her to school, and then had a satisfying shop in sainz, getting everything on the list. The aldee shop was a big one for us - £47, but got everything I wanted except broccoli and decaf coffee. And I can live without them for a few days!

The freezer was in dire need of a defrost so I spent about an hour on that. I started off with a tea towel in the bottom to collect the water and then wringing it out. Daft idea. In the end I folded up a bath towel to go there, then just lifted it into the washing up bowl to take to the washing machine. Twice. There was rather a lot of ice to get off. Oops...

It is cold and wet out there. Yuk. I'm collecting dd in the car from school, and she'll then decide if she's going to a disco / youth / or nowhere tonight. I'd like her to opt to stay in...!

Dh saw an icyland offer of 10 off 40, but we know that their prices are more than 25% above aldee's, so we're not being conned into it :)

    And so March begins...
I did a big sneeze this morning and then felt quite washed out. So I stayed home whilst dh and dd went to church, and I just lay on the sofa vegging out for a couple of hours. The washing, washing up and lunch all got done, but I'm not going anywhere fast!
    What does March look like?
    -13 days at work
-18 days not at work :)
    -15 gym / swim/workout sessions
    -15 NSDs
    -6 dance sessions
    -5 swims
    -2 counselling /parents evenings/foodbank donations
-1 visit to mum (I'm now well enough to cope with the travel as well as being mentally/emotionally strong wnough to be with her) / hosp appt / open morning at work / KK session

It's quite empty so far... Wonder how long that'll last...

The hosp are happy with my op and will see me in 6 months re the belly button hernia, to monitor it. I arrived 30 mins early for the appt (traffic + parking can be unpredictable) and was seen within 15 mins, so was out before my appointed time had even arrived. Yay!
Today's been quite odd. Small things have made me quite anxious so I've had to take a deep breath and stop quite often. It'll pass.
I emailed sdd1 out in Canada re our poss dates for going out there this summer, as we'd said to her that we'd forego Oz this year (to let her mum go out to see sdd2 and sds) and would go to Canada instead as we'd not been since her wedding 7 years ago. She replied pretty pronto to let us know that she'll be out in Oz with sdd2. We're not surprised, as there is a big family bash going on, (but it's one that we are not comfortable with and would not wish to attend really), but it would have been nice to be told a bit earlier ... I guess we know now, eh?!
We still plan to go out to Oz in 2021, but have no wish to play second fiddle and pussyfoot around others this year. When we go, it will be on our terms, for our holiday, for us.
So, this summer is open for us now. Dd wants to go to a youth camping event in Aug. We'll have to see what corona has in store for us all ...
Dd managed her swim class today, despite her manky ankle, so it must be mending. I also swam, but only half the width of the pool was available, there were half a dozen kids playing in the water plus up to 9 or 10 adults trying to swim lengths. Madness! So after 30mins of not much, I was well chilled down so got out, had a warming shower and took my time getting dry and dressed.
I did also manage a modified workout - still not right after Sunday's under-the-weather-ness. I hope to sleep well tonight!
Logging my food is going consistently so far. That's all I'm doing so far. No comments. No judgements. Just observing.

    Enough wittering on!
