You sound like you're going at full tilt, apple, but it also sounds as if you know how not to over-stretch yourself, good on you :)

It does feel rather full-on, karma. But I think my hand-drawn weekly chart has helped immensely this week :D. I've also had another piece of paper with a gazillion things to get done on it, plus another paper I fill with immediate tasks when I get to work. All 3 have different tasks on them (!) but they all help me to focus on what needs to be done first, what has to be done at work because I can only access it there, and what can wait. It is very nice to scribble things out!

Instead of puttting off sending an email about something, I'm trying to ensure I write it there and then - always assuming I have access to a computer...

And when I do start official marking (hopefully Friday...), I will need to take regular breaks at least every hour - and not just for 5 mins, or my brain will be addled by saturday lunchtime :rotfl:.

My half term break has started :j
I have passed the standards to mark :j
The sun has shone nicely :j
Egg + hm chips for us tea. :j. But I should go and make accompanying coleslaw too.

Dd has decided she's not bothered about a ski trip offered by the posh school - for £1250 for a week in Italy. Phew :rotfl:.

Ugh. We have a poorly dd here, sneezing and coughing and snotting all through the night, eventually coming into our bed at 5.37. By 5.45 I'd got up, to give her space to sleep. And she slept until 8.30.

    I've done a 15 min workout - I completed 4 full rounds of:
-20 each leg 12k KB bulgarian split squat
    -20 12kKB swing
-10 elevated feet push up - I did man push ups, but did them belly down, which was hard to get up from some of the times I was down :rotfl:.

    And 5/220 marked. I'm on a roll...

4 mins until 9am when I'm back on it, so I'm off to play...

It's more poor dd, really. She is so bunged up yet drippy, has a slight temperature and doesn't look too good. But is not complaining, just playing and reading and not expending too much energy.

And yes, my oh-so-cunning plans for the day have been 100% scuppered. By dd, needless to say, but also by dh who is also coming down with something and is crying off a colleague's leaving lunch, so as not to share his bugs around.

My doves order of oodles of gf flours has arrived. Hmm. It does take up a lot of space... but cupboard tetris has got it all behind a closed door. Just gotta hope the partition wall thingies that hold the cupboard up are strong enough...

Am off up the road soon, to chat with the posh school's catering manager, and to take advantage of the sainz points offer, as outlined on here. And to use a 6 off 40 voucher for dd's frozen items.

Must also remember to get balm tissues... Really must remember them. Cos if my two darling family members share their germs, I'll need them too...

Phew to a good night's sleep all round. I only got up at 7.

We have made it to the library. Lots of books returned and even more taken out...

    Sainz - 3x £1 bars of gf/df choc bought and 3x 150 points acquired.

Dh has bought 2 more boxes of tissues.

Dd is researching sylvanians and I'm watching bullriding and avoiding marking...

So with you talking to the catering manager at the posh school, does this mean dd was successful and you have decided to go for it?

Hope everyone feels better soon and you don't catch it!

Yes, earthie. She got herself a place at a good discount, so she's going there. You must have missed it when I wrote about it! She is so pleased to be going there and can't wait for september.

I did get a fair amount of marking done in the end. Just a drop in the ocean, but nevertheless, one drop less to do.

    Workout done: 16x45/10
-side jump lunge; plank up and down; hip raise; big jump forward and 2 back; lying leg raise; pike press to plank knee tuck; ballerina plie squat; plank criss-cross knee tuck.

Need to think about what to move on to. Currently, I'm using the lite alloy website/page to pick a workout the day before, or even on the day, but feel like I'll want more structure soon. I've proven that I am able to work out every day (38 days in a row so far...) albeit with some much lighter days thrown in. Hmmm. Must have a look at the zuzana series (does 'series' have a plural?!?) that I've done in the past. Off the top of my head, I fancy the kettlebell one...

Dd is much much better than yesterday, so it seems that her half term won't be ruined by illness. Dh still looks under the weather but seems ok. I'm still doing fine, phew.

Wow, 38 days in a row? Thats really something. Maybe thats why you haven't got the lurgy? Anyway, I'm glad dd is on the mend, and dh too.
