I like using a rail terminus too, where possible, apple, its much better, isn't it. I really hope you "get it all done"2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Did a food shop with dh after the morning school run. Horrible! So many people! Turkey and chicken were both so expensive , we decided to buy our usual pack of chicken breasts and have that on Cmas day along with lots of veg. And we hope we have enough gf/df food for dd to last until the other side of Cmas...
So, we have done some things. Some of the more important things. Some things have been deliberately left undone and some only partly done.
Dh left soon after an early lunch -more wedding stuff / rehearsal / things to sort out. He is quite heartily fed up with it all, esp as it is voluntary!
Anyhow, best go and collect a child from her last school day of the year. Wouldn't do to be late...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

I have signed up for Frugalwoods' UFJ.
I am pondering my 1000 days.
And I'll be signing up for the NST January challenge.
:rotfl:Can you tell that it's the holidays and that I feel that anything is possible?!?! :rotfl:NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Been to a wedding! It was lovely. Had gf cupcake afterwards. Dd had gone to play with friends as it was a 'no kids' affair and she had an excellent time.
Managed to get a present to a friend and we had a frank and open chat about money, spending, ostrich-like approaches to things.
Found a white brushed cotton(?) double sheet for £3 in a ch shop, 2 bags of bits and bobs for £2 each, a HP lego book for £1.25, a gazillion poppers for dd for £1 and a small bunch of pretend poinsettia for mum for 50p. Not planned expenditure, and one I'll have to cull if I'm to do the UFJ. Gulp.
On the other hand, I managed to redeem another £5 voucher from swagbux.
On the way home with dd I realised that I was hungry because I'd not had any lunch. Oops. So I have had my tea with dd. No doubt I'll get peckish later, but can munch something else later.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

It has been a truly lovely day, karma. And then I saw a lovely full moon as I was closing dd's curtains. A great end to the day!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Another lovely day. Up at 7 for headspace and then a workout :j + shoulder exercises. Dd came down just as I was finishing the workout, so that was good timing.
Had a good time at church - lots of carols. I surprise myself every year by realising that I know nearly all the words.
We had a relaxing afternoon. I did some teddy sewing and cutting out; dd did some clay work. We watched some telly - including Peter and Wendy - thoroughly enjoyed it.
An nsd, so that's good.
The first part of my 1000 day challenge is to take photos. I can't sell my craft online if I have no pics. So instead of continuing the mindset of 'I'm no good at taking photos' - despite taking loads of decent ones of dd, etc - I'm going to play with it and get to a decent photographer standard. There. I've said it. By April 10th 2019. That's the first 100 days.
And the gluttony needs sorting out...
And the food bill.
So, it seems like 1000 days - part I - to April 10 2019 is:
Health - get appetite and food intake straighter
Wealth - reduce food expenditure
A life well-lived - play with taking photosNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
