17,693 steps done so far today.:D Walked up through the woods with dh this morning, then up to Icyland this afternoon.

The weather has been clear and sunny, and we had a great view of a local firework display this evening - from our back garden. Several neighbours were also braving the chill.

Did some paperwork for a soon-to-happen cafe trip. I suspect I may have to amend much of it early next week, but at least I have started it. Almost did some lesson prep, but stopped just in time...

Sewed a few bunny legs and arms, made a few mice that still need eyes. Not a huge amount of crafting, but a Tilly Tidy that still got a little done. I cut out 4 big bunnies, 4 small bunnies, all their clothing and over 30 mice whilst to/from/in bham. Now I need to sew them up... Plus the santas + he11o kitt1es...

    Found 18 old Dandy comics - 1983 + 1984 - in a ch shop, so dd now has them all.She is v happy :D.

Thank you greent x. I no longer feel that dd should go with me every sch hol - she needs time to chill out in her own home and not be travelling. And this way, I can go during term time and also have time at home with my own family.

We've had an email from d-i-l, telling us that they actually got married on their original date (the one that got cancelled that was going to be in Oz), getting the legal bit done. So the photos we saw - Lake Louise - were not the 'actual' wedding. All rather complicated. Dh is rather disappointed that he/we weren't involved in the wedding as we were only 45 mins drive away from them. Sigh. It has been rather a tough year with each one of his kids, all in different ways and I think he has found it hard.

Been to physio. V good. But now my rotator cuff tendonitis is rather tender despite 20 mins of ice. However, I only go back in 2 weeks and in the meantime I am to do certain exercises daily along with icing it daily. £38 well spent.

Twas a busy Monday but that is my busiest day of the week done and dusted. Have a fairly large list for tomorrow. Should keep me out of mischief...

Earthie - the most I get is a school dinner, in exchange for doing a duty. Luxury, no?

    Achey shoulder today.

Put 250 into dd's savings as online wasn't working, so I went to the bs in person. Took the cash out from the atm, went through the door, and handed it over again!

Very good shop in sainz: vitalite down to £1; plain soya yog; gf df nuggets + chick steaks; 4 loaves gen1us bread; 2 packs gf df pizza bases; gf df choc to make more 'reeces' for dd; nakd bars for dd to try; marshmallows like the ones in c0sta; more non-disgusting vegan cheese. And a cool HP book. Spent over £42. Ouch. Used a triple points voucher, which is why I got so much. For once I found everything on my list.

Once home, I did a proper warm up (what a shock for my body!) and the shoulder ex from the physio. He said to start with the 3k dumbells. Ha. I started with a 454g jar of honey! However, I did do 5x 10 of each of the 4 exercises. Am now sat with an ice pack wrapped round it. As per what I was told to do.

Recorded rugby highlights on thebox. So tempting to 'waste' time watching ... Dh is going out in 10mins, so I'll do useful things once he's out of the house... maybe...

Are you sure your occupational health service wouldn't provide the physio? Scotland is strapped for cash, but my physio is great and keeps me in work...

The only place I've heard of OH people is in colleges, post-16 places. I've never heard of one for a school unless there's a disability or injury necessitating certain moves. I shall ask around tomorrow.

I enjoyed the rugby, and also got some necessary paperwork and marking done. Then plenty of machine-sewing of bunny bits when dd was home.

Made a yummy bubble + squeak based on an economy gastronomy recipe. Dh was impressed!

I've looked at the calendar, and think I'll be going to bham again next week, as I can't do the following 4 weeks. Yikes. Then in dec, either a day visit or airbnb as the flat has a 4-week booking.

Forgot completely about the occ health asking today. Got to work, handed in updated paperwork and then discovered that both members of staff who I though were accompanying me next week were not, for one reason or another. Yikes. However, I managed to get it all sorted very quickly, by running around an awful lot. (I made it to 38 floors today!) Phew.

Dd ate some apple today:T. And quite enjoyed it :rotfl:. She is my mini apple muncher now!

Sewed up more bunny bits and turned 8 bodies + 16 legs. The arms are a little pesky so they can wait until tomorrow. Also, I've been surprised at how much twisting of my shoulder is involved in the turning of bunny limbs!

Shoulder ex done again - using a 600g weight this time! and interspersing each arm ex with a leg one.

We went to dd's parents eve and she, of course, is doing brilliantly. It's good for her to hear it from her teacher. 2 very smug parents :D.

Feeling quite positive generally, after a little while of feeling sad generally. It was good to do no sch work at all once home today.

    Well done DD.

The occ health here is the council occ health. I needed a physio referal from my boss and I was seen within a week.

Hope your shoulder is improving and glad you are feeling happy x
