    Mortgage-free Glee!
I understand and I agree you need more time to yourself. When is the next time you can book off for you (or cancel something, your health is most important). What would you do with a couple of hours to yourself?

Sending hugs and an imaginary hot bubble bath and candles :)

    Progress not Perfection
  • I did walk the first 3 miles to work today, but it was all frenetic once I arrived (I am chasing up missing paperwork for a trip in 2 1/2 weeks as well as trying to keep on top of my marking, planning and teaching), and my total step count of over 20,000 shows that. I found that although I kind of enjoyed the walk - and will keep on doing it - it didn't relax me much today.

My next 'time out' will come on Fri when I travel up to bham on the train - if I can get a seat... And I think I'll give church a miss on Sunday.

Now I have identified the 'issue' I'll no doubt find/make time and do my best to relax my shoulders, deepen my breathing and enjoy the moment.

Greent - of course I know you didn't mean it! I well up easily at the mo, especially when I think about things related to dad. And when people are kind and say lovely things, it opens up the floodgates a little.

Saw fab poster on train in week. The ad read "breath in for the time it takes you to read this line,
breath out for the time it takes you to read this line"
I couldn't get a seat so did that a few times and train journey passed quickly and I was cheerful all day .....never underestimate the breathing bit seems to be the motto from that day for me...
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • Thank you watty - I am deep breathing as I type!

So, today's visit up to bham and mum has been cancelled. I have a stinker of a cold and am not fit to travel. Nor would I want to visit a care home with all the germs and microbes floating around me.

Once HUTH has finished, I'm going to bed!
