Than you Watty - it's not something I'd wish on anyone! Dd has cheer at 8, so that'll be my first walk of the day.

Thank you MWC and Cath. Still pottering on. Swelling inflates and deflates throughout the day, which is weird.

Managed to get as far as the local shops and spend some money today, and was pleased to find that they have a 3 for 2 offer on many of their gf range. So I spent enough to get a £1 off £10 spend and may go back and get things for dd.
Got a wash done + hung up, but not enough oomph or hand power to strip the bed.
Was able to tie up some moderation loose ends and get some paperwork sent to the board. Also nearly finished another centre + associated paperwork.
And also got some marking done too - 11/34 scripts. Would be lovely to finish that one tomorrow, as I hope to return to work on Mon so time for all this will be seriously curtailed!
On second thoughts, the moderation stuff is peskier, so prob best to focus on that for now, and move to marking when I need more rest!
Enough wittering. I am required to do some Bratz's hair...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Thank you!no chance of getting lost as I have to keep it all strictly organised. The downstairs has piles at different stages - woe betide anyone who moves them, even in my enfeebled stateNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Let's add in some sinus/ear/throat pains for good measure, eh...
Took dd to dance,to give my wonderful dh a break. The driving really made my wrists hurt - eek. In between 2 classes, i knelt down to do up dd's laces - and struggled to get up again. However, I took some marking and got 10 done, enabling me to finish that centre this afternoon - yay! Just approximately 180/300 to go...
Dh has taken dd to the funfair this afternoon and since it is now raining, they'll soon be making their way back, rather bedraggled no doubt. The rain has also prevented me mowing the grass. Oh, and not having a working mower won't help. Nor will having hurty achey wrists. Hmmm. It was a nice idea...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I am 1/3 of the way through moderation. The new system has made it quicker, I think?0

Yes indeed. Although chasing up the numpties who are incompetent with admin still takes time. And the feedback forms.....each one totally personalised (as they should be) but the detailed comments required when I have to go beyond the first stage of the sample... Am mighty glad we don't handwrite them!
Am 2/3 through moderation - although the last few centres could have their own time-consuming problems yet to be unearthed... And 1/3 through marking. Both have the same deadlines.
Tomorrow I shall try another moderation centre, then settle to marking. Except 1 centre can take several hours by which time I've lost the will to do any more! Marking is a whole lot easier...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
