5 bunnies all finished and hatted.
Several rows of dd's cardi knitted.
A second wash done and hung up.
Washing up round #1 complete.
Paid for dd's trip to a museum for next week.
Sent dh a comprehensive shopping list - anything he can get is good.
Floor all swept and dollies all played with.
Tonight's task will be to cut out more bunnies...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I'd say that was a pretty impressive day when you have a poorly DD at home!
Hope she's better soon

thank you greent! She wasn't too demanding, which was just aswell as I've been rather hot/cold and sneezy myself. Fortunately dh did buy 2x balm tissues!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

'They' are 'imminent'. Have been for a little while, so I guess we may be at the 'very imminent' stage soon. It's the independent version. My personal departmental paperwork is ok. Tracking needs tweaking.
But at least 'they' don't just turn up at the door and the first you know is once they are there!
I have perfected the art of switching off from work once I get to a Thurs evening, so they could rather upset my equilibrium!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
So, we have now both been paid for Jan. Here endeth all spending that is not necessary! Ha - if only we were that good...
It is hard not to shift my extra pay + any leftovers to the mortgage, as per the last 2 years. So I shall shift it into the savings instead, the ones offset against the mortgage. Although it is still not yet definite that dh is out, I think that mentally he has left the company. And the next - and final - week will be well weird for him. On fri afternoon he has another eye appt so he'll leave work early to get there.
Ok, I'm now just blethering on, so I'll go and do some reading.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
No dance today :j. Dd isn't really well enough. So all 3 of us are still in bed, with 3 devices and 3 books and a box of tissues to share.
Dh will be sent out later on the quest for 2x cough syrups and school bars. He has his uses!
I shall get properly dressed today, do a whites wash, sew up some bunny bits....NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Thankyou small. she is no longer as pale as a ghost, but the dry cough is acoming for her. That's the one that means she wakes herself up.... And us.
Dh has added his 'discoveries' to our soa, and it has gone up by a gazillion. He says that on the first Mon that he is not working, he will go through and do some cancelling. Yippee!
And, there is still a whittling of my 'spends' to be done. Ballet, freestyle, cheer, tae, childcare. And food! And fuel.
He has also verbally agreed to both of us keeping a note of all spends in a notebook. If he gets into this, I suspect he'll do his own electronic version. I so hope he gets into it!
We are extremely fortunate in that we have no debt other than the mortgage, and the last couple of years have seen us simplify our lifestyle. We are in this new phase all togetherNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
The cough arrived and dd had to come in with us. I know that many parents wouldn't do that, but when your child has a tendancy to be unable to stop coughing until they vomit, your priority is slightly different... Being in with us means that she relaxes and coughs less and sleeps better. But we, on the other hand, do not!
So she and I have had another day indoors. Next door came round to play for an hour or so, but I am still undecided about tomorrow and whether she is fit for school. Or me, for that matter.
However, the day afforded me time to complete another 6 bunnies. Am well impressed with myself, andmeeting the Jan target. This does mean that the Feb quota starts from scratch though - usually I have some unfinished items that can count... If I end up home tomorrow, I can get some underway. If I have to go to work, I shall take some fabric, pattern bits, pins and scissors with me, and cut out there. We have a y11 parents evening but an hour to spare before it starts. Usually I'd go for a walk, but am so under par, it would be daft.
I almost made the 310,000 steps for the month, being thwarted in the end by the last 3 days. Same for the 310 mins of exercise. Book reading was well over. Sugar and grain free days were few and far between. Craft was bang on. Food spend was ok, but dh bought stuff instead of me when I couldn't get out. All spends did get noted down. Selling and removing were not very active.
Similar targets for Feb. But less spending please! Dh has agreed to me paying £400 pcm to the mortgage as, along with our joint payment, this will keep the repayment on track. Phew.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
