Smug face is on :D. I have been for a run. In the rain, wind and dark, unable to avoid puddles as the first I knew about them was when I squelched in them! And I wore lycra. And a fit bloke running in the opposite direction gave me a grunt and a grin of running comradeship :D.

(And it was only 12 minutes -but with no stops)

And I have to go back out in it to collect dd from brownies - yuk.

Nicely done! I wimped out and ran on the treadmill out of the rain. ;) Think I did 16 minutes of running, but with 16 minutes of walking mixed in as well.

When I used to run regularly, I LOVED the bad weather! The nastier the weather, the more inclined I was to go out and run! And the muddier the better. And oooh look, there's a hill! Better run up it!

Not quite so fit now, but I think I'm still a bit like that...

I've definitely had that thought (once or twice), but the determination quickly fizzles out if the hill is long and/or steep. :o

I actually like running in the rain - yesterday had cold/wind added and that seemed like too much to deal with during a lunch hour. :)

When I lived in Sheffield, I livd above the snow line. So every run was a hill run!

Today I have had no fitbit . It had the temerity to completely run out of juice... so I just kept active, including a 20 min lunchtime walk. And it did still record the steps - phew!

Am running the NST feb challenge so I need to wrestle my laptop off dd at some point, to be able to write it up.

Ps bought some fabric today. Oopsie. Only £1. Licorice allsorts pattern. Dd is not impressed that I want to turn it into bunnies...

The total number of steps thus far, to the end of the 27th.

Have also managed to shrink the screen on mse so it is all tiny! I was trying to get an underscore line but pressed the Control key instead of the Shift one. Three time. And do not know how to undo it...

Expect many typos until I can get dh to sort it out!

And dd and Ihave agreed to turn the fabric into bags... Agreed for now...

Use Control and 0 to reset to default zoom. (Or you can do Control and = as if you were going to do a + with Shift, and that'll increase the font size.)

Thank you! Dh came downstairs and sorted it out for me - and also explained what he had done. Now I know!

Last working day of the month all done and dusted:D

Dd has acquired a stinker of a cold and I am considering keeping her off tomorrow - a rare event!

5 bunny bodies all turned and stuffed. Another 1 needs re-sewing round the head. All the legs need stuffing - my least favourite limb to stuff...

Got a shed-load of marking done throughout the day :D. My y11s asked to spend the final 5 mins of the lesson on 'life lessons', which was rushed. So I have promised them 10 mins on how to do a SOA next time.

Most of this month's targets are nearly met. For once, it has been the craft one that has wobbled. Probably due to the franticness of the first 2 weeks back, in darkness. I have exceeded the book quota by 200%! And dd is now reading a whole Roald Dahl book per night!

I shall make no list yet for tomorrow. If dd goes to school, then I shall be doing the 'parent in to school to see how we do things' morning, which will halve my usual time for jobs. If she stays off, then we shall stay in and get housey jobs done, but no library or food shopping...

dd is far too poorly for school, so we are pottering around at home. I won't get a lot done, but one lot of washing is drying and I have stuffed the bunny legs and pinned them onto the relevant bodies.

Cars and hotwheels stuff has been all brought out and then finished with - all within 20 mins. Shows how off-colour she is as she usually focuses for a long time.

And I need to send dh a shopping list as there is no way I'll be getting out today...
