Last working day of the week done and dusted.

Some good time spent with dd. She loves taekwondo and always comes home buzzing from it. We have set up her sewing machine and she has had a go with it. It is incredibly noisy, especially compared with mine, but she is proud of owning her own machine.

And I sewed up 3 bunny bottoms and added their arms, so they just need eyes and noses and hats attaching. Another bunny also needs legs. 2 monsters now need stuffing. And I have cut out most parts of 4 more bunnies.

    Tomorrow:
    -school 5uns
-check if presc items in chemist
    -check c00p for ys?
-pop into dentIst to change dates
    -post parcel
-sains (esp for bread if chem not got)
    -aldee
    -library?
    -mark essays
    -play around with seating plans
    -washing
-knit (am treating this like Tilly Tidies: a row or two every so often doesn't seem to make much progress at the time, and then you measure it and see just how far you have come
    -sew
    -seek a warm winter coat?
    -workout

    Hmmm. Is that enough...?!

    -mark essays
    -play around with seating plans
-washing :T 1 lot done, another ready to go in
-knit (am treating this like Tilly Tidies: a row or two every so often doesn't seem to make much progress at the time, and then you measure it and see just how far you have come

Just having a quick sit down - have gotten damp and chilly twice so far today... And STILL haven't done the main food shop, yet have already spent that amount elsewhere. Eek.

Must go and hang up the washing and shove another lot in... Then get up the road to aldee...

    Still to do:
    -aldee
    -washing
-fold and put all clothes away
    -sew
    -knit
    -mark
    -workout
-collect dd and do some crafting after school

I should do this - finished a pair of socks at the weekend and haven't picked anything up since. Have a jumper in progress (but very lightweight so seems a bit pointless at the moment!), plus various other partially started/planned projects.

I've been trying to finish projects off before starting new ones - doesn't always work, but can be satisfying.

I think my problem is that I'll swatch, then start a project, and then put it aside and lose momentum/focus on it. The jumper pattern is easy enough to pick up anytime but a few of my other started projects I have no idea what I started on! Will be nice when we move and I can have a dedicated craft room so that everything doesn't need to sit in a single pile out of the way of the dog (who likes to steal/hoard wool).

No knitting or marking, but got the rest done :D

    2 monsters stuffed

    3 bunnies all cut out

Missing bits for previous 4 bunnies also cut out

If I finish them all tomorrow (:rotfl:), then I'll have caught up with my target...

Another awesome workout: ZWOW 26. Then I did an extra 10mins. Ooph.

A couple more NSDs this weekend, so up to 16. I would have been at more but getting last minute things for dd's party scuppered a couple.

We had a lovely lunch with some great friends today, and dd loves being in their house, so I even had some adult conversation time.

I spent last night's craft time turning bunny limbs and ears the right way round - about 40 or so of them. Tonight I'll finish the last 3 tricky ones (lesson learned: don't use fine cord for both sides) and start stuffing them. Looking forward to it!

The fine cord bunny limbs have won. They are just too difficult to turn the right way round! So I shall unpick the 4 legs and re-do them with white. And the pink stretchy fabric is just too stretchy, which I already knew, but I was seduced by the colours...

All in all I have only pinned together 7 bodies tonight. All 14 legs still need stuffing...

Other than that, I did a MF workout and used my new heavy (12k) kettlebell for a few swings at the end. Glad I didn't have it for the 10,000 swing challenge I did!

In the spirit of 'eat better (not necessarily less) and move more' I went for a brisk 15 min walk at lunchtime and have kept off grains and sugar. I think that the heavy kb weighs what I need to lose. Gulp.

Am getting on top of my detailed inspectorate-ready schemes of work, for if they call. Not there yet, but much closer than this morning.

I re-read my first post the other day (anyone else do that??) And thought that I may soon be posting a similar one...

Time to get dd to bed and switch off from tech.

Meeting after work about them, and getting ready for when they call. The Head said it should be a short one... Hope it is! I'd like to get home to spend some good time with dd before Brownies. Dh is going out about the same time so I am wondering whether to go for a little run once I've dropped her off... :rotfl:

Not much money news going on as we are waiting on hearing about dh. But am amassing a nice number of NSDs and keeping to my budgets.

Found a proper linkie to SOA writing, so may well sit and do that soon. Since I did the rough one the other day, we have both 'discovered' payments that we had missed, as they went on dh's credit card and not through the account.

Got some kiddies coming for extra help, so best look like I'm happy to see them... :D (that's me!!)
