Seeing as I have not got to grips with the financial side of things yet, this week's targets are 4 NSDs, 10 craft items, and a whopping 15k steps per day - 100,000 by the end of next Sunday.

Will your house insurance not cover the cost of the damage done, though not the repair itself?

I don't think so, as it is 'wear and tear'.

The storm didn't wake us with all of its thunder and lightning last night. But the drip, drip, drip into my wardrobe did - the pesky 5 litre container had had the gall to fill up and overflow again. At 11.45pm. Ugh.

Coffee has brewed, so off to mooch around mse for a little while :D

Are you SURE it wasn't last night's storm that damaged the roof ;).

It's where our bit of roof joing next door's wall (terraced but they are slightly higher and also further forward then us). Probably a case of the flashing no longer doing what flashing should be doing.

I have not made my target of 15k steps, but am over 12k. So not too bad! And tat was with a walk before work, at lunchtime and after! None of them were more than 20mins, but it felt good to be out in the wind and rain. I shall try again tomorrow - though no lunchtime one.

Getting more steps is my new Lenten challenge, instead of giving something up. Though puddings would be a good start...

Tonight I have sewn limbs + ears for 2 bunnies and cut out 3 more. Along with their hats. Happy.

With the revised mortgage payback payments, every 450 cuts a month off the end date.
