-school run
-aldee
-bank a few coins
-library (no ch shop bks for me this month)
-bunny arms and faces
-hanging baubles
-make bakewells
-make cookies
-clear back table (in order to use it to gather together stuff for dss + gfto take - their new place has a fridge and a wash machine. That is all.)

So far, so good. Dd +1 dropped off happily. Dss + gf out all day. Freedom!

I told dd this morning about the moving out date and her immediate comment was: 'You can celebrate your anniversary'. What a lovely first thought! A friend has recently ish cleared her mum's house and has a loft full that she is willing to give them, so I need to tell them and almost twist their arms to accept...

Books returned to library and more tAken out. A nip into sainz to get properly dairy-free margarine resulted in a £7 spend. Hmmm. Left the re eipt behind...

Table half cleared - but that was the most I was ever going to manage anyway.

Bunny arms and faces done, so the last 4 are complete. Until I decide to make some more...

Lemon cake is in the oven - dd is off to a party tomorrow and I had forgotten to make her some cake for it. Oops. plus a few lemon cupcakes to celebrate dss's bday tomorrow. Acquired a cake from the c00p down to 49p for him! It is glutenised, so dd and I need the lemon ones.

Pastry is also nearly ready for my makeshift bakewells... Am going to put marzipan in them and then ice them....

Plenty of steps so far - should make the 17k. Smug face is on!

Now it is the 23rd.

At least dd and I get her half term week together, with the house back to just us.

And she is struggling once more tonight with school. Grrr. Wants to change schools.

My hm gf bakewells are scrumptious!

Dd loved dance this morning.

She also love this afternoon's party - she went dressed up as Twilight Sparkle, with purple lycra dance leggings, a dark blue top, a hm purple horn attached to a hairband and a hm purple cape. Inspired! And the present came from stores, dd made the card, and we walked to and from the party. All rather mse... Smug face on.

While she was at the party, dh and I went to the local coffee shop, then got a card, magazine + wine for dss's bday.

Tomorrow aldee have a sewing machine for sale, that we want to get dd for her bday. More spending!


Did I mention that the 19th has shifted to the 23rd? And the realisation that that is just the key-acquisition date, and probably NOT the moving in date. I do need them out of here, especially at half term. Dd needs it massively too.
