Apple muncher's number crunching

Dd woke herself - and us - at 6.20 with some sneezes. Not impressed! We are off to Guildford in a while for dd's friend's bday - swim + bowl. Because it will involve lunch out, dd wouldn't go without me, so I get to wear my bikini... Guess I had better get breakfast and then organise all the gubbins one needs for a day out.
She currently is searching for her Barb1e armbands and we can only find Mickey, whilst trying on her several costumes to decide which one to wear...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Ooph. One and a half hours in the water, lunch and then a game of bowling. (I'll just happen to mention in passing that I won the adult group...) Am now officially worn out, but it is a good worn out.
Dh took himself off shopping whilst we were out. He enjoys it far more than I do, but is usually satisfied by the £ and 99p emporia. He did find some age-appropriate toothpaste for dd (so important when one is 7), a hot wheels car (he is picking up some track from a lovely freecycler later on), and 2 packs of butterflies for my lavender bags. And toblerone - he is genetically incapable of visiting the emporia and leaving without one! So he did rather well.
Dh has agreed to let me not tidy up my gubbins until I have finished the moderating. Craft stuff has a big tray on the floor and the machine on the table and a bag of knitting stuff on the floor and 2 (?) bags of cutoffs and scraps on the floor and a huuge bag of BUNNIES and a row of snowmen on the dresser; moderating has two piles on the floor and a stacker box and a pile on the table and some papers on a chair... I am one messy muppet!:DNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
A while ago I culled our crockery, as I realised that I don't enjoy eating off cracked plates and chipped bowls. I use the bowls much more than dh, and we ended up with 3 useable bowls. Yesterday it went down to 2 so dh got 2 more down from the top shelf. They are a different shape but more or less the same colour. When it came to serving up tea, I got out these 2 bowls and rejected 1 straight away. Cue getting the rest down and removing 4 of the 6! Dh was confused as to why, but all 4 had chips around the edge. So we now have 4 blue bowls, 2 pooh bear ones and a darth vader one! Tis sufficient.
Dd has just pointed out to me that I have too many necklaces. She is right. I have about 10 but don't wear several as they sit in the wrong bit of my neck and make it itch.
Off to kids klub today; dh has already left to get the bus. Enough wittering, time to put on a wash and make brekkie.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
We skipped kids klub - once again - but did go and collect dh. Dd appreciated time to sit and read and play.
My necklaces have been kondo-ed and I have kept 3.
I have checked through the paperwork received for my centres and seem to have what I need from each one of them. So no chasing up required - yay!
Only being able to do bits today, I've cracked on with the lavender bags and am (almost) heartily sick of them now - if that is possible! 2 more to sew and then 7 to embellish and then I can forget about them.
Have dug out a bag of euro coinage for Tuesday. Must count it up and spend it on coffees!
Ooh, did a zshred! Zshred 9: buy in: 20 competition burpee; then 2x:20 jumping mtn climb; 10 ea side plank to (top leg)knee tuck; 20 1 leg chair jump (start 1 foot on chair and jump to switch); 10 prisoner get up = 10m46.
This week I'd like to focus on plenty of steps...or even just 10k per day would be satisfactory...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
23 bunnies.
5 bunny pairs.
21 lavender bags.
45+ days to go.
Dd has suggested I make some more bunny pairs and then some mini bunnies on their own. Canny lass!
Today's focus is tomorrow's trip; tomorrow's focus is the trip... By this time tomorrow, we should be well on the way to the coast.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
All ready to rock and roll to le Touquet. All prep done (apart from my food, which is a whole new ballgame!), so just the easy bit left to do: take 37 children to France AND bring 37 back again. Preferably the same 37...
And dd had a wonderful time at the party. It was outdoors, and thankfully the rain had cleared up by then.
Now to relax a bit.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
It is pre-watershed, and dd is snoring. Success.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

We have survived Le Touquet, and Le Touquet has survived us. No one got lost permanently. Everyone had a go at speaking French. Everyone got wet in the two hailstorms and blown about by strong winds.
I would happily take them all again.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Oh Apple, you make me feel so lazy, just caught up and it seems you haven't stopped!
Glad you enjoyed France and are now the adult bowling queen.
It sounds like the bunnies are multiplying like, err, bunnies in your house too!
Seriously, Etsy, Paypal et all is easy-peasy and so worth it. Always here for advice if you fancy giving it a go.

Thank you MeandO. I do plan to pick your brain - and Pearla Merle's too. I am doing my school fair on July 4th and was wodnering if I should get a card made up to give people. But then I thought I might already need to have a website or selling site already set up. or could I just get them to email me? And then, if I go the email route, should I set up a different email for it????????????? ANd then I just stop thinking!
Am on auto pilot today - weary from yesterday. Shopping and washing done. And have started another centre for moderation but it is a tricky one. When the 'acceptable' difference in their mark and mine is 2, and I have a difference of 8, there is an issue to resolve. So am having a break before setting to it again. Had hoped to do 2 centres, but that only happens if it all goes smoothly...
And back to work tomorrow... When I can start on all the paperwork for the y7 trip to Boulogne in 4 weeks time! And sort out the 'accounts' for what we spent in and around Le Touquet. And, just possibly, do a little teaching...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
