I am supposed to be moderating. I have all the paperwork out and the right colour pen at the ready. But I had to switch the pc on, to be able to listen to the CD. Then I just forgot about the work and slipped over here...

What's the betting that as soon as I put my headphones on, dd wil thump down the stairs...

Got done what I'd hope to do. Phew.

Dh took dd to dance so I really cracked on, no procrastinating or drink-making or toilet trips. I'm soooo professional.

I finished 1 centre 95% and had to send it to my TL anyway, so even trotted to the PO to post it off. Smug face is on

Picked up a pack of gf crumpets that were reduced to a reasonable price, dd acquiesced to trying one and scoffed it all! Good for her.

I now have 3 more centres who have delivered the goods, so will need to think and plan when to do them this week. Moderating is the easy part - it's the pesky admin that's time-consuming.

Off to plan.

Then bunnies. Have contacted my sch's pta who've reserved me a table for the summer fair. Yay! Must also plan that...

Each year I aim to be better at the admin. And each year, I forget something!

On another note, I conclude that I am finally getting better. Yippee! Hardly needed any tissues today - and prob only drunk 3 litres of water. Progress.

Dd has taken a long time and much upset to grt to sleep. May keep her off kids klub tomorrow and leave her in her jamas. Telly off. Tablet and ds off. Just playing is what she loves best!

No kk today. Only got myself dressed around 3pm. Minimal steps. Yummy brownies made. Washing up done. Washing done. Dd kept happy. Knitting done. And 4 baby bunnies finished - yippee!!!

Dh has been sorting through 2 drawers of doom in his chest of gubbins. One yesterday, t'other today. When spread over the bed, they cover it, and these are small drawers! He is the king of tetris.

Snort!! They are useful and that's as near to joy as he'll go!! Then he puts them in boxes and up in the loft. Grrr.

But I can only do my own stuff...


Anyhow, made 3 hanging lavender bags today. Am v pleased with them as they were an experimental experiment : sew a rectangle in zigzag stitch, ensuring the ribbon hanger is stitched over, and shove in a little stuffing + lavender ( thank you Habibiboo - am still using it! ) before sewing up last side. Then cut out using pinking shears. Saves a lot of faff and turning the right way round and stitching up the gap.

Went to make dd's lunch and her lunchbag was well stinky! So gave it a good scrub down. Yuk.

Lady you have been ill and you still put me to shame. You do what I do with your morning lists then whoosh through it all after the school run eh well done you!!

Glad you are feeling much better! And I am only stepping it up because I had my parents here to babysit the sleeping small while I went and have been feeling a bit down in the solariums so it has perked me up! Spend free happiness much better than the more spendy kind I have frequented recently!

Eww to the lunch bag. I confess to throwing Jellys lunch bag up on the top of the cupboard over easter as it always comes home empty. Got it down to go back, opened one of the tupperware tubs, immediately closed it again, gagging, and threw it in the bin. Mould filled, soggy sausage... the stench!! :rotfl:

I've got mum kondo'ing. Although she calls it kendo :rotfl: - I've kendo'd my suitcase, so much fit in!!! Really mum? That is japanese martial arts you know...

Today is a day for sorting out priorities at work. Tomorrow is set to be a manic day so today needs to be calmer... I have a list of a gazillion things to do, but suppose I should focus on getting the internal exams ready!

And then on the module of work for y12 when they return after their exams.

And the trip.

And since I am on the mend, I want to get 10k steps in...

Unit of work printed, but need to plan what to do when.

Internal exams almost ready.

10k steps - yes! And a mini workout of my own devising as the zshred ones looked nasty. 2x: 50 side jump lunge; 40 jump lunge; 30 jump squat; 20 skater; 10 press up (on knees as still rather feeble). Fun and sweat-creating.

Now to feed dd...
